Good luck getting your packages... oh and good luck getting someone to help you when they lost your package/delivered incorectly... don't waste your money on insurance because their answer when my passport was lost was "no we show ot was delivered". Been trying to get someone to pick up the phone for 2 days... they just hang up on you. you have better chances getting your packages delivered by throwing them out to sea and saying a prayer.

I went to the office to buy a priority stamp. However they did not have it. A week later, I went again, but they still don't have it!Clerks ignored to inform the manager to replenish the stock. And managers should pay more attention to clerks' work.

Worst PO. I put in mail hold when I went on vacation. Even called to make sure the mail hold was in place. They still delivered the mail. Unbelivable.

If you have somebody to pickup your mail do that, if you try to put your mail on hold with the post office chances are that they will ignore your request and deliver your mail anyway . If it is raining it will get well or it will be a good sign for intruders to tell them that nobody is in your house. Two times in the last three months I requested the service only to be ignored the two times. The first time I went to the post office to complain and in a few minutes I will go again to show my confirmation number and the mail that I got in over the weekend (Friday).

In 2023 it Seems as though credit cards,checks and other valuables are hard to get delivered these days by the usps.

I wish I can give -50 starts. It's been over a year that my mail is been send back to senders FOR NO REASON except that the mail carrier is not doing his job, I had filled numerous complaints with no luck what so ever, no one is helping not even the investigation team. NO ONE. Till to this day I'm still learning from senders that my mail is still be returning back to them or I just don't receive it at ALL. Worst, of worst post office in the country.

Mean staff, that recently pretend to be nice, but in the eyes, I can see that she hates me. Their scale doesn't work at all, every time she forces me to pay extra cents and hold entire line, because she has to redo my pre-paid label completely?! I asked consumer affair to check up what was going on with their scale, since I check my packages on mine, that being certified every year. They told me that no one can check them, because its governmental institution. And now I understand why she is acting like a mini-god in this place and thinks she can do and behave the way she wants. I try to avoid even getting there, but when I drop into their receiver box, its takes forever to scan and delivery. I hope their management read these reviews ones in a whyle....or maybe they are the same way?! won't be surprised.

Our mail & the mail of all of the mail for our block has not been delivered for 3 days. We understand these things can happen and normally our delivery is fine. Our complaint is with the woman who answered the Merrick Rd Merrick Post Office phone Kay Moore ? She was dismissive rude and turned what should've been a 10 minute conversation into a whole aggravating deal. She kept saying our carrier was there everyday as if that negates the fact that noone on our block both sides didn't get our mail for 3 days. Just bc he shows up to get timed in doesn't mean he's out here doing his job. Our complaint is regarding her handling the situation. A proper customer service response should've been ; im sorry for your inconvenience, your mail will be delivered today . Happy Holidays. But instead I got KAY. UNACCEPTABLE
