Lights still not replaced in cardio room. Every bulb should be working in every light fixtures, not just one bulb placed randomly---from the back where fans on, all the way to the front treadmills.

Obnoxious high school kids here for social hour, mixed with the awful music and broken machines.. They have a janitor that does zero work other then get in your way and make dirty faces at you when you go wtf.

ONE of the few people who actually like the gym, however Leo runs hot and cold. please ask him to leave the fans plugged in, everyday day the plugs are pulled out, and it gets really hot. LEO is not interested in this problem and thinks its very trivial. They are like 6 people ln the gym at one time, so i doubt anyone is pulling the plug out except for him. IS he saving money or what ..... Who is LEO ANYWAY,? and why is he one of the nastiest human beings on earth? Why would any business owner let him run things, unless he has a financial stake in the place. Eventually he will run the place into the ground.

Good luck trying to cancel your gym membership! Thanks! The manager is not helpful. Kinda crazy you guys didn't get either of my or my finances cancellation letters in the mail.

Beware. They will not cancel your membership. They ask you to send a letter in to cancel which we did for two separate people. They "did not receive" either letter which was sent to the correct address as it was provided by them over the phone. For them to not receive one letter is understandable but two is just not realistic. They would not cancel over the phone and had to contact the credit card company.

businesses make mistakes. and that is fine, but they need to own up to them and fix the situation ! Not here! The manager Leo Martinez was extremely rude. I needed to cancel my sons membership. He told me the procedure and I followed it. However, I continued to get billed. When I called to rectify the situation, he could not assist me. He never told me I had to send the letter in certified mail in case there was an issue, so I had no receipt. He also told me that he would freeze the membership until which time I could cancel my membership ( because it’s a 30 day process).He did neither and as I said, before I continue to get billed. when I tried to engage in a conversation on how to rectify it because I was misled, he said nothing could be done.

Synergy is, truthfully, not that great of a gym. However, the staff, particularly the two young men, Josh and Dylan, make up for what the equipment and atmosphere lacks. They are kind, patient, and understanding. They make everyone feel welcome and supported, no matter if they're beginners or seasoned gym-goers. Those two truly make going to synergy worth it.

This gym is all about squeezing every last dime out of people to stay afloat. Just look at all the reviews and look no further. The back room with the free weights used to be HUGE and nice then they transformed it into a class room to make more money. The result was a tight, almost claustrophic type of free weight room about the size of a galley kitchen. A shame. Canceled recently.

Worst gym ever. Customer service sucks. I tried to cancel because I was no longer able to make it, I sent a letter via certified mail like they directed me to. After two months of them telling me it’s under review and they would contact me I stopped getting calls and received a collections letter. If you Google the collections agency the reviews also say how they are in cahoots with this gym.Scam scam scam

The absolute worst gym ive ever seen in my life, machines are old and run down, No A/C, all free weights are in a stuffed enclosed room, the manager Leo is a liar and and couldnt care less about anyone but himself, only reason this place is still open is because they scam people saying they dont send in cancellation letters, if you do not get the letter certified they will claim they never received it then send you to collections for a bill of over half a thousand dollars, no help whatsoever from anyone higher up than the manager, truly an embarrassing business that only runs off scamming people who clearly dont have money to pay nearly a thousand dollars for a gym they never even used. I honestly cannot say enough bad things about this gym its insane, theres not single positive i can think of going to this gym, save your time and money and go to literally any other gym cause this is the absolute worst of the worst.

Read all negative reviews before coming here. The absolute worst of the worst for a reason, cannot say enough bad things about this gym, ruined my credit score while im on vacation cause they lie and claim they never got a cancellation letter, not to mention they have the absolute worst run down old broken equipment, they have no A/C its always stuffy and hot in there, terrible layout for free weights, this place makes planet fitness look like paradise, the manager is a liar and terrible person, they have no moral compass and just like to scam people who dont have enough money to pay thousands of dollars for a gym they thought they cancelled years ago, this is more of a scam business than it is a gym, do yourself a favor and never ever even consider this absolute joke of a gym, I wouldnt go there even if they paid me any amount to go there. Absolute worst customer service of any business ive ever interacted with as well, its a miracle how this place is even still open.

This gym is so great because of the personal care you receive from the talented and knowledgeable trainers. Specifically, Dylan Fitzgerald. He is positive, caring, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I’m so glad that I found this gym.

Please be careful when signing up to join this gym. I received a debt collection notice with fees. I contacted the gym and spoke to the manager who informed me that they were not able to withdraw my funds for quite some time. I told the manager that is how you handle a long-term member; no phone calls, no emails, go directly to debt collectors?The manager, Leo told me that they tried to contact me 20 times, which is not true, I have voicemail on both phones and there was not 1 message. If there was, I would have reacted promptly. I was also told they do not send emails. Really….I receive promotion emails from them all the time. I do not appreciate being lied to. I informed Leo that I want to make sure my account is cancelled after payment and asked for a letter in writing, he informed me “oh your account is cancelled” and we cannot send you a letter indicating so. Why? I also requested to speak to a higher level of management and was told he us the only one I can speak to. I have read other reviews here and it seems others have had similar experiences at this gym. They have lost a good customer. Shame on them.

No stars - I cancelled after not liking the way the head trainer spoke to me after many years of membership and sent a certified letter and received a return receipt. That was almost a year ago. Then they started charging my credit card and I disputed the charges. I thought it was over until they started charging my credit card again a few months ago - disputed again - and now received a dunning notice from a collection agency - I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau as well as the NYS Attorney General. I will take Synergy and the collection agency to small claims court for the hours I have spent on this as well as any challenge to my credit rating. This is a sleazy business practice and the gym is no longer clean at all.

Yo this place is actually one of the worst gyms ive bren too, its hot as BALLS out and that guy is always on LOVKS charging me for shii.. even tho i canceled suck ma balls
