I went today to buy Pepperidge Farm bread and bun because it says buy 2 for $5 but upon paying was charged $8+. My question is that how come your Franklin Square branch price was 2 for $5. Are you not same store ??? Please check your pricing

“The experience at Stop & Shop is hit or miss. Sometimes the cashiers don’t even greet you, and I’ve had bad experiences at the deli too. They often leave my items sitting on the counter and go chat with someone else, completely ignoring the customer. They really need to work on their customer service.”

Feels so unsafe lately, and idk who’s in charge of hiring but the people working are lazy and RUDE. Also not to mention there is homeless people in the parking lot and there is never parking thanks to all parents waiting for there kids. This place use to be so nice, idk what is going on, Merrick mall has changed so much. I’ve been living here 22 years plus & I really hope the mall gets good a good security company to cleared up the lot, I also hope stop & shop does a better job at hiring better staff. Really shouldn’t have to deal with this while shopping in such a nice area.

No help at the deli counter, few cashiers at check out, some are very rude, nobody knows where anything is. Generally it is very poorly managed, this why all of retail is in trouble. Stores are closing like crazy. This why people buy on line. Lousy customer service in the stores and rude to top it all off, who needs them let them all close until they wise up and realize again that the customer is king. Stop and Shop in Merrick.
