Recently made my 1st visit to South Shore Sportsman and couldn't have been happier! Fantastic selection in store! The staff was great and knowledgeable. They took the time to go over all my questions and helped me make a decision that I am very pleased with! I did a trade in towards a new purchase, and had a fair, easy, and hassle free experience! Have been to a few gun shops on Long Island, this is the best. Staffs are nice and friendly, knowledgeable. Really enjoyed my experience here. Will definitely come back for all my firearms and ammo needs.

Believe the reviews. Was recommended to come here by a friend who since I'm new to all of this, I hounded Brian over the phone who actually reserved the firearm I was interested in. I walk in and saw this well oiled machine function.
Stan's the man. Walked me through the basics and took care of all the paperwork. I talk and they listen, Stan even showed me firearms cheaper than the one I was interested in and took the time out to show me how to get comfortable with them.
Their honesty and business practices are a breathe of fresh air. Even though they're far away this is going to be my go to place. Cannot recommend them enough.

My cousin passed away he was the pistol permit holder, and I went with his wife to turn in his weapons. They will explain the laws that govern the handling and the proper way to turn them in. Nick was friendly, courteous, and professional in this matter. Nick will take care of all the paperwork that is involved. Any and all questions you may have on weapons, they have the answers.

Work super quick. They didn’t try to sell me anything extra I didn’t need or want. Went in asked for one thing and that was it. Guys are super helpful and informative. Also way more inventory than expected.
