His extensive knowledge and insightful advice on the roller nap selection, which I was initially clueless about, played a pivotal role in achieving outstanding results.I expressed to Andrew that once the project was complete, I would provide feedback, and here it is - a resounding five-star review. The paint job not only impressed me but also garnered praise from my father, who owns a construction company. His exact words were, "Do you want a job?" Although I declined the offer, I am genuinely pleased with the outcome, and it's a testament to Andrew's expertise.I believe that recognizing exceptional service is crucial, and Andrew's proficiency undoubtedly contributed to my newfound skills. “What a fantastic experienc!!!. I previously sent an unfavorable review about Sherwin Williams in Merrick on Sunrise Highway. I had to go back to ask questions and decided to go to the Oceanside location instead because of my horrible experience in the Merrick store. It was like night and day. Robert T. went above and beyond to assist me. I explained what I needed and he provided me with guidance and examples so I could thoroughly understand what I needed for my project. He didn’t even know about my previous experience in Merrick and still went above and beyond. I honestly was taken aback as the treatment was amazing. He was so receptive in helping me. “The five stars is actually going out to a worker, I think he said his name is Isaiah. Very tall slim guy. He brought the giant garbage can I bought out to my car in the freezing cold today and stayed out there for 10 minutes while trying to get it to fit in my car. I would have been completely stuck without him! Thanks, dude! You deserve the accolades!***It's now April of 2024 and I find myself leaving another rave review for this Ace Hardware. This time it's because I bought something online that the house REALLY needed, but couldn't leave my house because my mother is bed ridden, not well, and for over a week I couldn't find someone appropriate to safely watch her so I could go pick it up. When Ace called me because they wanted to remind me that I had a product waiting, I explained my situation and asked if they could please just hold it a little longer. The next day, my doorbell rang and an Ace employee had their hand outreached to me with the product and a smile. I was and am floored. This is the old timey kind of customer service from my youth and not usually seen anymore. Thank you to whichever employees were involved in that whole resolution. :)”

They've always been SO friendly and helpful, and have even double checked when an order seems off based on what we had already purchased - what amazing customer service! Who does that these days?! They were also SO nice and showed our kids how they mix the paint - it made our whole week!! The best place for paint, and any paint or stain supplies you may need!”
“Holy moly. This is the best building store for both pros and DIY’ers. The store was renovated and restocked in first part of 2024 and it’s even better than before. Riverhead is my go to for lumber, trim and moulding, paint and stains, cauks, both common and rare fasteners, drywall supplies, general building supplies and tools. They carry most of the stuff big box does but with a friendly expert staff.

2) They’ll cut down lumber and load it for you for free
3) $50 delivery on orders under $500
4) Open an account and they email you an invoice for your records every night”
“Ace Hardware of Baldwin is my local hardware store. They might not be the cheapest but they certainly are friendly and helpful. Just as like many local businesses in these times, they seem to be undergoing a bit of a staffing shortage at the moment, so patience is key if you're in a rush. Major shoutout to Lisa. She was my local superhero the other day. She saw me combing the isles and asked if I needed help. I told her what I needed and she then managed to cut the highest gauge chain they had available, using the stores finicky hydraulic cutting machine. At about 4 feet worth, it felt as heavy duty as my Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Chain that I currently have wrapped around my moped. And for only $29, t'was significantly cheaper. Oh and they never yell at me when I walk around the store with my bike or electric scooter in tow.”
“Amazing customer service! Had an old can of paint and needed to do some touch-ups but didn't remember the name. They remixed the old paint and strained it, all completely free of charge, so I was able to use the paint I had.”

“Patrick was very friendly, helpful and professional. He had a good sense of humor and was attentive to my wife’s questions. I am colorblind and have no idea about complimentary colors. I did not get the name of the other associate there at the time but he was also friendly and asked if we needed help. The paint is expensive but it is a superior product to the competitors. I highly recommend this store. The only downside is my wife now wants me to paint the rest of the house.”
