Merrick is very lucky to have such a great shop and owner in town. He is always there to make a recommendation, and he keeps his prices very competitive. No need for us to go anywhere else for wine or liquor.

Merrick Wines and Liquors is my go-to store and has been for quite a while. The owner, Rinku, is very knowledgeable and actually cares if his customers are satisfied with their purchase. The store is super clean and always has an updated, large selection. I highly recommend this store above all others in the area.~ Kelly

The owner is a gentleman and came through with some much needed wine during the Covid Crisis. I appreciate that he went out of his way. We will support your store after the crisis is over even if the big chains offer lower prices which may or not be the case. We should support our local businesses especially the ones that support there customers.

Small business owner located in the Merrick Mall between Outback and CVS. Even though the address is Merrick Ave it is located behind Merrick Ave, a little tricky to find if you are not a local. It's a small shop but good in a pinch. I was looking for a Prosecco and Vermouth for New Year's Eve on NYE day and didn't want to deal with the crowds at the big chains. They had what I needed without the hassle of crowds. Prices can be on the high end for some items and they don't advertise sales but for a few dollars more the convenience is worth it. Owner is friendly and he will help you find what your looking for right away.

Great selection of wine and spirits. Super friendly owner who takes recommendations, and if you call ahead of time, will place your bottle of white or rose in the fridge so that it's chilled when you get there to pick up!!
