I’ve had a fantastic experience at this vet! The facility is well-organized and maintained. All the doctors are great, especially Dr. Waters, who is fear-free certified. She is outstanding and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. She has worked wonders with my more aggressive cat, and now he’s much more relaxed during visits. Highly recommend!

This is our 3rd Vet office with Cocco that we have tried over the years. We have seen three Vets here at East Bay. All three have been caring and haven't tried to sell us on unnecessary services like most vets. The frontline staff and techs are so good with treating my dog and seem to truly enjoy their job. Complimentary nail cutting is just icing on the cake. This vet clinic has never said no to getting my dog in for shots or to be seen without a appointment when really needed at times. Pricing is fair and I encourage everyone to bring their pets there. I rarely write reviews like this.

I want to express how grateful I am to have everyone at East Bay! I recently took in my family members dog that we knew had health problems and he wasn’t getting the car he needed (no one’s fault) and when I got back to NY with him, we knew we needed to get him looked at by someone we trusted. Immediately we got an appointment with Dr. Waters and from that moment he stole everyone’s heart although his was failing. For the past two month East Bay has dedicated so much time to helping him be as comfortable as possible and in the recent days, Dr. waters and the front desk staff all worked on way we can help him and the hard reality was setting in stone, this morning he suffered a seizure and like that east bay was ready for him! We got there and unfortunately his time came before we walked in the doors and we were shown nothing but ultimate sympathy and support from the loving team who had given their time to him, if there is one thing you get from this whole thing, is that they care for the pets and doing what’s best for them and even learning from each pet as my Yoda was not an easy case. Thank you all ❤️? enjoy photos of the day we got him and yesterday, 15 year difference ❤️?

I take my beloved pup to Dr. Waters, she’s been taken care of my pup ever since he was a baby and in a prior vet clinic. She’s a great vet, very personable and respectful towards animals and humans/parents. I highly recommend her to all of my close circle! I don’t know what to do without her honestly! Never a bad experience with her and I stick by her advice whenever I need it when it comes to getting the best of the best for my pup!
I really do appreciate everything she does and continues to do! Although sometimes I experience attitudes from some of the front receptionists when checking out, not a pleasant experience with them but I try to overlook the bad with the good!

Back again to say Tina just had soft palate surgery at East Bay and she is so much better than she ever was! All this time reverse sneezing, snoring that woke her up and she couldn't breathe Had it not been for Dr Maltese I never would have known soft palate anything Just want to say thank you to to her and the surgeon for a better life for my girl Also want to thank the staff for always putting up with my craziness! Tina can't talk but I will always be her hypochondriac If your looking for a vets office East Bay is the one, all the Drs and staff will keep your pet happy like my Tina is !!

I’ve been taking my fur babies to Dr. Waters for 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier. You can tell she really loves animals and cares about them and I know my babies are in great hands when they are there. They have a separate waiting room for cats and Dr. Waters is a certified fear free vet so my cats are handled in a way that reduces their fear and anxiety. My most recent foster to adopt kitty just had some pretty bad GI issues and he had to spend a few days at the hospital. He was so loved and well taken care of. There is no one I would trust more to take care of my fur babies than Dr. Waters and the team at East Bay Veterinary Hospital. They really go out of their way to make you and your pets feel like family.

LOVE Dr. Waters!!!! She is so warm, loving and attentive to my fur baby. Also had a great experience with the technician named Miriam. She went above and beyond for us in an important time of need with our pooch. Highly recommend seeing these two!

I could not be happier with the service and care my pets recieve at East Bay Veterinary Hospital. The front desk staff, nurses and doctors are all top notch professionals. My dog just had a surgical procedure and the recovery has not been easy. I tried my best to keep her calm and away from the wound, but she still managed to open it up twice. It was a disaster, but East Bay took us in right away, stitched her back up, monitored her for the day and didn't charge me any additional fees. They go the extra mile and actually care about your pets. That's great business. Thank you East Bay!

Dr Amanda Maltese is amazing!!! The other doctors and the entire staff are all so nice and so caring for the animals and their owners because they know the animals are our babies, not pets....

1 star is generous. Friday afternoon (October 13th 2023) my family had a very traumatizing experience when our dog got injured in a fight. He was bleeding alot and there was a literal hole in his ear. We live in Merrick. This is our vet and we drove right over, trying to call on the way.Unable to get through by phone until we got there. We were hoping for help. Upon arrival I walked into this office crying. The staff we dealt with acted bothered by us. We were told to wait in the car.2 employees came out and told us that he could be looked at but there would be a wait because the dr had other patients waiting. They Made it sound like they could not do much for us and said we should go to veg in carle place. There is no protocol for emergencies? To say we are disappointed is an understatement. My family has used this vet for other dogs we had throughout the years.I can no longer mention this office positively. I really don't understand.Your website claims you offered the services we needed! Why were they not available for us? There is a whole section on critical care on your website! You should have helped us

Dr Gary Selmonsky misdiagnosed my dog. To begin he has no bedside manners. Is quick to rush things and “assumed” that my dog didn’t need any medication, his heart looked pretty good before he actually had the results back from the echocardiogram. I was told the echo would only be an hour and so, 5 hours later I was able to pick up my dog and then tells me that Zeus DOES need medication FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE, has early signs of DCM. I thought they had evaluated the wrong dog. Didn’t even recommend getting a specialist or anything of the sorts just that I should come back for an electrocardiogram. They seemed ANNOYED at the fact that I wanted to go somewhere else for a second opinion. I’m so glad I did because Zeus doesn’t have any indication of DCM what he had was a birth defect and he upped his medication and changed it completely. Very disappointed and we will not be coming back because of this Doctor.
