This place is completely bomb!!!!! It's in a cute market where there are multiple options for fresh food. We got yucca fries, spring rolls, and empanadas as appetizers. All were pretty tasty and I loved the dipping sauces. My friend got two sandwiches and I got a make your own bowl with a variety of veggies, delicious grilled tofu, and other toppings. Everything was made fresh. The two dudes that were working there were wicked friendly. I would def check this business out if you're ever in the area. Fresh delicious and healthy food!

Both the chicken and steak banh mi sandwiches are excellent. The bread is crispy and the meat, perfectly cooked. The pâté sauce gives great flavor to the sandwiches. Everything is fresh and delicious.

In my humble opinion, these are the best banh mis in the Capital Region. I get cravings for this place and once went out of my way to have lunch here 3 times in a week. Highly recommend!

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. I am not joking but if I could choose a last meal on death row, I think it'd be a combination of everything I got here the other day. I've eaten at least 100 Vietnamese restaurants (all over the nation and in Vietnam) and I still think this place is stellar. I am also from San Jose where Vietnamese food is abundant. This place is definitely competitive in terms of their quality food. I got the chicken rice bowl with cilantro coconut rice and every topping. I also got the jasmine milk tea with salted cream on top. I got a free tres leches cake (worth $4) because they're celebrating their one year anniversary between 4/8-4/13. If you spend over $20, you get the free cake. If you spend over $10, you get free churros. This stand is located in the cafeteria-style/market Galleria 7. There is plenty of parking. The market is open out to the air so it can be a little chilly inside but Teas n' Tapas is located all the way in the back toward the bathroom. They have a small barstool area that seats 3 people. Otherwise, you can sit in the front common space. The meat in my chicken bowl was so flavorful, well-seasoned and tasty. It wasn't at all dry or chewy. The rice was so unique and not common for com tam or Vietnamese broken rice plates. The pickled vegetables were sweet and tangy. I got my bowl with the Vietnamese vinaigrette sauce but you have the option of doing a sweet chili sauce. If you don't want chicken, there's also steak (for $2 extra bucks), tofu, or shrimp. If you don't want rice, you can do vermicelli. They also sell banh mi (Vietnamese baguette sandwiches). I also got the summer rolls (goi cuon) with the pork and shrimp. I liked that the pork they used was the authentic kind used in goi cuon. It was fresh and had vermicelli noodles and mint. The tres leches had a fluffy and smooth cream on top. It was the best tres leches I've ever had. The jasmine tea was so delicious as well. The cream on top was salty and was adorned with caramel and a matcha (? dusting. It was beautiful looking and tasted so refreshing. I asked for light sugar in it. The rice bowl was out of this world and is something I will definitely crave from now on. The workers here were nice and food came out promptly.

I have heard various things about Galleria 7 from co-workers but never quite made it there despite working just down the road. Let me tell you trying to find parking during lunch is no joke. Be prepared to circle the parking lot but that aside this place is really cool inside! Today I went to Teas n' Tapas which has been on my Places to Try Yelp collection for a while now. The flavored teas and bahn mi especially interested me but when I got to the counter and asked for a recommendation I was steared towards a "big bowl". The girl who took my order was friendly and patient. She asked how hungry I was and after skipping breakfast I figured hungry enough, but I had no idea... the bowl is probably enough to feed 2 at lunch unless you're ravenous. I ordered the coconut rice, lemongrass chicken, pickled vegetables, cucumber, tomato and a little chopped peanut with the vinaigrette dressing to go. This along with a custom iced tea, unsweetened jasmine green tea with a little coconut jelly added. My order was ready fairly quickly-maybe 10 minutes? The tea was super yummy and a little on the sweet side but I rarely drink my tea sweetened anymore. I wish there had been a more jelly to be honest. I have half of the tea left and most of the jelly is gone already. The bowl aside from being quite large was delicious. The chicken which I expected to be just marinated and grilled chicken came with a glaze on it which was more than enough to season the bowl with out any of the vinaigrette I had ordered. The cucumber was fresh and the tomatoes were regular sliced tomatoes which aren't in season right now so its difficult to complain. I did think the tomatoes would come diced but from a prep perspective since they're probably also for the sandwiches its easier to just slice them. The pickled vegetables looked like shaved carrot and daikon radish with a lightly sweet pickle. The vinaigrette I tasted was kind of bland and not vinegary. I really feel like the dish needed some acid to cut through the sweetness of the chicken. The rice was delicious and had a beautiful char. I loved the rice but I would want to try the bahn mi next time. I definitely plan to add this to my list of lunch possibilities in the future.

First time diner. Lemongrass bahn mi was made from high quality ingredients but was so spicy hot as to be inedible and I line spicy food. Pork rice bowl was good. I like being able to select veggies and sauce. Would get again if it can be moderately spicy.

Two tofu bowl, one salad, one vermicelli. Price point too high. Noodle bowl sparce and bland. Signage poor, it's actually in an indoor mall in the plaza. I'd come back to the plaza but not here.

The search for good and quick Vietnamese food is over! No, not your normal pho, but Vietnamese sandwiches and rice bowls. Vans is my go to for a typical traditional meal; Pho Yum is great for a quick bowl of pho. Teas n' Tapas is the place to get a banh mi. My favorites are their lemongrass chicken and grilled pork. Both are just so flavorful and make the sandwich. I have yet to try their bowls, but considering they use the same meats, flavorings and similar toppings... they can't really go wrong. They've got a pretty authentic looking homemade chili sauce on the side. It is definitely not for the faint hearted though. Their teas are well crafted and unique. They've also got punch cards for them too. Vietnamese iced coffee: strong, and sweet, just the way I expect it to be. Serenitea: basically a mellow iced caramel macchiato... with green tea instead of coffee. The Cure: the name tells all, VERY ginger-y, slightly lemon-y and honey sweet. Perfect for a cold. The name seems to portray them as an "Asian fusion." That selection is limited - with empanadas, wings, tres leche, and churros, but I wouldn't discount them for that. Everything is delicious, so I have no qualms.

Within the Galleria 7 Market there are at least 8 businesses offering you a wide variety of choices. Today we decided to try Teas n' Tapas which might confuse some people if they are expecting the tapas to be small Spanish or Latin dishes. Would you believe Vietnamese? And if "tapas" is intended to even mean small plates, then that might confuse you also. There are only five offerings under the "Tapas" heading of the menu - Spring Rolls, Summer Rolls, Chicken Wings, Yucca Fries, and Empanadas. All right, I'll give you the last two are Hispanic so it's not completely false advertising. But the other three headings on the menu are Banh Mi, Big Bowl, and Desserts. Not exactly what you'd expect if you're looking for "tapas." In all fairness, I shouldn't overlook that the only dessert listed is Tres Leches, another Hispanic treat. At 6:30 on a Saturday evening we ran into a shortcoming - they were out of several items that we wanted to order - Summer Rolls, Vermicelli, and rolls for the Banh Mi (They close at 8 pm). So we went with the flow and ordered Empanadas, a Big Bowl with coconut cilantro rice, soy glazed tofu, crushed peanuts, jalapeí±o, cilantro, tomato, cucumber, sweet chili dressing, and probably a couple more toppings that I don't recall. While we shared the empanadas, the big bowl was for my wife. I ordered the Grilled Pork Banh Mi, but remember I said they were out of rolls? After we had placed our order and wandered off to find some beer, the counter girl sought me out to inform me of the lack of sub rolls. So I said to convert it into another Big Bowl with all the toppings. The two empanadas were good sized and filled with tasty chunks of Korean bbq beef. A sweet chili sauce served on the side had just a little bite to it that disappeared when added to the inside of the empanada. They were not at all greasy and full of flavor. The Big Bowls are indeed "big" so you shouldn't walk away hungry. The aforementioned side of sweet chili appeared again in the bowl dishes. Once again, the spiciness blended to a nil level among all the other ingredients with one exception. The slices of jalapeí±o were among the hottest either of us had ever tasted. They were so spicy that even a fly could not stay landed on the ones we set aside. Once our taste buds had returned to normal we both agreed that the coconut cilantro rice was absolutely delicious. My bun-less grilled pork banh mi rice bowl had all the great flavors of my wife's Big Bowl. Her tofu was ok, but not fabulous. My grilled pork had great flavor but was overcooked and dry. That's where the sweet chili seemed to really help. A final note: Trying to place our order was very difficult because of the noise level of the overhead exhaust fans. The counter girl had a soft voice making it even more difficult to hear.

Great do it yourself bowl. The flavor just works with the coconut rice, chilli sauce, and carrots. I was disappointed the pork wasn't char broiled but it went really well with the dish as is. This place is located inside the food court called Gallerie 7 (or something like that). I will have to try the banh mi, next time. Big portions and light/healthy.

The lemongrass bahn mi and Korean Barbeque empanadas were so good! And don't miss the freshly made Vietnamese coffee on ice. Friendly young staff very helpful to a wheelchair user.
