Capital District Regional Market, was created by growers of the Capital District Region of NY in 1933.
There are two components to the Capital District Regional Market: the morning wholesale market and the market tenants.
The morning wholesale plant and produce market takes place on the market square every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 5:30AM to 7:30AM, May through October. Farmers meet on the square to sell to each other and to retailers and restaurants; Some do sell to the public as well if you are willing to buy in bulk.
We do have non agribusiness tenants as well. The market tenants hold independent hours. See our website for a list of tenants.
