“I've been banking with the bellmore branch for over 10 years and they feel like family from the manager on down the line. It's one of the rare experiences nowadays where you feel like your bank is there to help you. I don't know why people use commercial banks when this option is available. All the branches are better than commercial but I go out of my way when possible to go to Bellmore. Island Fed should use Bellmore as the model to emulate. Kathy ,the branch manager, is the most helpful person I've ever experienced while banking.”

Today I went here because I noticed charges to my account that were not from me & John M was so incredibly helpful. He spent about an hour with me & called the fraud department to dispute the charges & gave me so many helpful tips on how to protect my card info from being stolen. “I loved this bank as NEFCU, as Jovia they still have great service during business hours at the branch, but as the other customer said, beware the 1-800 number on the back of your card. The after hours customer service is horrendous to the point where I purposely wait and call the branch directly the following day. I think the name change and changing everyone's debit/credit cards was a bit unnecessary. Don't fix something that isn't broken.”
“Levittown branch is by far the best... Applied for new car auto loan and everything was handled professionally. I even had to request more money twice on my loan and was granted everything without a issue. The staff is extremely friendly and made you feel like family.”
