Huge Disappointment. Specifically purchased from this company to support Veteran Owned Businesses and order a gift for a newly retired military veteran. The item clearly states "***Made to Order*** Allow 1 week production time." Order was placed 22 Jan and I asked for an update on 25 Jan to ensure the product would arrive on time. The owner (Anthony) stated it required more coats of poly and would be shipped out the last week of January. I called the owner 5 Feb to check the status and he stated he was out of town and he assured me it would go out this week. I texted him 7 Feb and he said "it was mailed yesterday", so I asked for the tracking number. Not sure if he was aware that I could see on the UPS site that he created a label minutes after I texted him to sent me the tracking number. The next day when the items was still not showing as shipped I told the owner that I would be requesting a refund and posting a review online if this matter was not resolved. He assured me he would get to the bottom of the issue and said "Its on the way I swear." 30 minutes after our conversation the package showed "dropped off by sender". The package arrived today 12 February (21 days later). And it was still wet with some poly coating and the coating was all over the packaging and had wood chips stuck in the coats. Unbelievable. I called the owner today and he apologized and offered a full refund if I returned the package. Not once during this whole ordeal did he offer to expediate the shipping, offer a discount, or make it right in any way. Here's the kicker...the same product is on sale now $55 cheaper. No sense of empathy or customer service. Now I have to start from scratch with this gift.
