And still Stop and Shop in Medfird (Route 101) has not cleaned up the women's bathroom. See photos below. Urine on the floors. Toilets not flushed. Toilet paper everywhere. One sink still not working for months now. Grime and layers of dust eveywhere. How do businesses that sell food allow this to happen? Makes you wonder what else you can't see in the back rooms.

This Stop and Shop is more organized than most but the very fact that their women's bathroom is the most disgusting, smelly place I've see in a long time. Broken stall doors, toilet paper always on the floor, pee and feces on the floor and chewed gum on the walls. The people never flush, the mini trash cans in each stall overflow constantly with sanitary napkins and other disgusting items. There are two sinks, both filthy dirty, and one of them has not worked in over 6 months! I don't think the floor has EVER been mopped. Mirrors have a greasy, dirty coating. All complaints fall on deaf ears. Add to this, I know that Stop and Shops all over Long Island are having issues with their refrigeration units. I complained about the Bohemia and the Medford locations with the state. After the State reviewed Bohemia, they were installing new refrigeration in certain areas. I have gotten bad yogurt, bad chicken, molded bread that you can't see until you open the bag (dark wrapper), and wrapped cheese that has spoiled but not yet molded. I hope the Regional Manager for Long Island Stop and Shops read these reviews and does SOMETHING.

I needed some organic icecream asap for a party. I called around at various stores, and the staff at Stop and Shop really helped out. Their manager, Chris, tracked some down for me even though they were down
in staff in the frozen food section. I really appreciated their efforts.

Deli is undermanned. Managers could care less.
Store is run by children who seem to have little to no experience. 1 deli person serving all customers.
30 minutes later I gave up.
Store is convenient to me but I will do my best to stay away. Not the first time this has happened.

It's Stop & Shop. It's a good supermarket. If you can't find what you're looking for here, as far as food goes, then you might be looking for more specialized ethinic food :)
