Did the process for a passport for my daughter and the clerk was extremely helpful. Surprisingly enough the passport arrived very quick in less than the time expected. Will be returning for future passport needs.

Lazy workers, can't answer a phone, make no attempts to get signatures... expect you to be outside catering to them for their every need. Honestly the fact they make the effort to put gas in the delivery van blows my mind. I thought they just scratched their head and wonder why it's not running. Clearly can't read addresses right, can't deliver on time, if they can't maneuver next to a vehicle so they can sit down and put mail in a mail box they just don't deliver and we never get the mail again. I'm surprised they made it this far in life.

Went here to get a PO Box in September filled out everything I had to fill out and still haven’t received ANY mail whatsoever!! I also tried calling and like usual no answer. I don’t recommend going here because it’s obvious no one doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Yes, this is a small office with one clerk. True, their hours are not as forgiving as the one on 9 in clifton park. But I have had very professional and successful interactions at this location for the last 7 years, including a passport photo for my newborn.This is just my experience, so take it as one data point.

Don't try to send your Amazon or eBay purchases back here. They have only one extremely slow and incompetent person working behind the desk. Whatever they are using to scan return labels is non-functioning.

I moved into the area served by the Mechanicville Post office almost five years ago. I've had no issues with my mail delivery and in the half dozen times I needed to go to the Post office the staff has been helpful, friendly and courteous. Looking at the reviews I can only assume that customers that have no problems don't bother to post.

Dominique is great at the counter and the young mailman is very good.They don't answer the phone though there it's true.

The mail person just crammed 2 coats in a regular mailbox and they ripped when I had to pry them out. The packages could and should have either been put in the large postal box or delivered to my house. Really lazy.

Mail is always late. If you order something that you are counting to be delivered by a date promised good luck. I believe that it has to do with employee shortage but recrutement is key. They use to have good service.

This Post Office has a long history of very poor customer service and it continues to this day. Nothing is ever done to correct this situation. Mail is constantly delivered late if at all and packages never make it to their destination. What is even worst is the PostMaster in Mechanicville never answers the phone. This Post Office should be closed and save taxpayers some money.

Sadly, customer service is near zero. I speculate because there is little to no accountability. It is very difficult (if not impossible) to get someone to answer the phone. The hold mail request have not been fulfilled (2 times in row now). In the end people can complain all they want, but have no alternatives.
