I don’t even want to leave one star!! This guy is just awful. Offended when he spoke down to me, I soon realized he wasn’t signaling me out, he was condescending to everyone! He pointed out something really wrong with another car, then proceeded to accuse my mechanic, who moved South, of selling a car with rusted out frame. I’ve known my mechanic’s Dad for years. Any way, this bloke is bad news. Very bad news. I suppose he didn’t hear me when I told him I’ve driven Saabs since ‘74. He was pissed that I got 2 second opinions from actual Saab mechanics. If tearing down other people is how you build your reputation, you’re already losing at Life. Don’t waste your time and money with this guy. It’s not worth it. There’s nothing worse than an ignorant man who pretends to smart.

I thought that Rock's Auto was the place to go and that I finally found my new "honest" mechanic. We brought a car there that had some electrical problems. The original quote was for between 300 and 500 dollars. The final bill was 1500 dollars, 990 dollars of it was labor. Okay, so there were more problems than anticipated. I understood that. The owner found that there was a leak near the windshield area and another leak issue under the hood that contributed to a lot of the problems and we were assured that the problem was taken care of. Less than 3 weeks later, the car started displaying some of the same problems that it went in there for. We took the car back there assuming that he would take care of the problems since they were some of the original problems that the car went in for. He called the next day and said that the car was all set to be picked up. My sons went to pick it up and he presented them with a bill for another nearly 400 dollars. Needless to say, my sons were surprised and displeased. They got into a bit of an argument about his "thievery". The owner threatened them with the bill now being 700 dollars before they can take possession of the car. He also asked my sons if they wanted to be "taken care of" by his buddies in the shop. That really made me mad when I heard that but my husband said just to let it go, pay the crook and get the car back. The owner, when confronted by my husband about the comment and the additional charge, decided to bring the price of the additional part down and take an hour of labor off of the bill. Let me mention that the part was only 19 dollars and the rest was all labor. The same stuff that was already disassembled during the first trip had to be disassembled again and he charged labor for it.... again. If he had been thorough the first time, there wouldn't have been a second visit. To sum it up, my opinion of him has changed from "honest mechanic" to "bully, thug and thief". We will not use his services again. I probably wouldn't have even written this bad review if he hadn't threatened my sons.

Bought a car with multiple issue that were not apparent in computer system. Owner stated computer was replaced no issuse with car. Paid well OVER book value for car. More details to come with pictures. Not paying for you to fix things you "forgot about" especially when no issues happend on test drive but two day's later when he finished the car and my son and I picked it up and driving down interstate the dash lights started with one MAJOR ISSUE ON DASH NOW HAVE 2. Also I will verify that other reviews I thought were over the top on Google where in fact very similar to the attuid myself and my 17 yr old son received buying his first car. Also dealer stated he was not a dealer then provided dealer paperwork. Tried to push blame on my son and I now blaming issues on Massachusetts inspection station plugged into the car when In fact they didn't and the shop has full video of the inspection proving they didn't do what Greg claimed they did. Asked for money back and was told I'm out of control and prove it. He also never returned phone calls on the issues. Make an appointment for an oil change and he will take care of us. Traction control issue , Imoblizer failer , left door locks and window stopped working all controls on steering wheel and some other on dash sometimes work or act erratic.

stop giving estimates on repairs on vehicles they never even looked. I was charged $278 dollars for nothing they never even moved the vehicle from where I left it.
