It's a mix of plenty! Antiques, vintage, modern and retro. Lots to see.

My husband & I were visiting the Chautauqua area and every other restaurant we went to was closed on a Saturday no less. We stopped at Docks by chance. The decor is not fancy but our meal was excellent and the service was great! We would definitely go here again.

I know this is a casual place but the last two times I've been here I've gotten a salad (the second time hoping they would redeem themselves) and they were both awful. All of their salads are made from the bag mix you get from the grocery store with the little shredded carrots and cabbage bits. The first time, some pieces of lettuce were even wilty and brown on the edge, I just picked them out. It's one thing to use a prepackaged iceberg lettuce as maybe a side salad base but when the whole entree is a big chicken salad, I expect it to be made with a mix of fresh, darker greens. Maybe I expected too much? Not sure. It's a shame the food is so poor because the only redeeming quality was the nice outdoor seating.

Terrible service. Waitress was rude and barely checked on us. We waited an hour and a half for food and it came out cold. Some of the items came out incorrect as well. They were extremely rude about it afterwards. I do not recommend. The watermark nearby has excellent service and I would recommend them as a much better alternative.

Wait staff was friendly and food was delicious. Can't go wrong with "all you can eat" crab legs!

So sad to say I didn't even like this place one bit. "Connie" the waitress at The Docks was super ignorant and rude to the point I cried on my way home... what's sickening is she treated me like a piece of s*** because I'm in a wheelchair. She kept pointing at me with other waitresses and kept cutting me off when I was trying to order the $13 meal not the #25 meal to the point I couldn't get a word out and she ordered the wrong thing They made me pay half the difference for Her Mistake which is complete b******** Amiright?? After making it very clear that me nor any of my family will be doing business at The Docks, I told the waitress to be a better f****** waitress and stop talking over people as I left. Furthermore, I just wanna make a shout out to two best friends that stuck up for me amongst all the b******** S**** Des gave the waitress a lesson on how to treat people with disabilities because clearly SHE HASN'T BEEN TRAINED P.S. I hope people share this and I'll make it public because I don't want anyone to ever get treated soo poorly because they're different or to get f over by The Docks management. Enter at your own risk

Super slow service, two hours for food that was subpar. Wasn't more than 6 tables of people. Seemed like each waitress was frazzled and doing the job of 3 people, must be not enough cooks in the kitchen. Not worth the money or the wait.

Had a reservation for myself and my wife for our anniversary. About half full, so not terribly busy. Sat with our menus for 20 minutes before a waitress even bothered to say I'll be with you shortly. 10 minutes later, waitress still hadn't been back to us, so we got up and walked out. 30 minutes, no glass of water, no bread, no stopping to take our drink order, NOTHING! Will never return.

We were in Mayville to attend a concert at the Chautauqua Floating Stage, and were looking for a convenient restaurant. Docks is certainly convenient, literally across the street. Docks has indoor and outdoor seating. It was a little cool, so we choose inside. The restaurant is decorated with many neat antiques, which the wives really enjoyed. Our meals were very good, and the menus had plenty of good looking options. Our first drinks from the bar were very poor, our second was very good. Unfortunately, we had what we assumed was a brand new, or perhaps fill in waitress. The waitress did not know the wine menus, and we had to show her the menus so she could copy the name of a very common inexpensive wine. She brought our salads and dinner at basically the same time. Just a couple examples of inexperience. Overall the restaurant was very good. It was Labor Day, and very busy, so we understood why our waitress may have been inexperienced. I would certainly recommend the restaurant.
