Staying in Southold for the July 4th weekend w/ my family and my old land cruiser’s transmission began slipping to the point it stopped shifting. A&C was the only place open in the area, called them and told me to bring it in early afternoon. Had AAA tow me there. Got there by 1:30pm. They replaced the transmission line which was leaking, refilled my fluid, test drove it to ensure that fixed it and nothing was wrong with the transmission. And they had me back on the road by 3:45pm on a Saturday. The cost to fix it was also super reasonable. And now I had a way to actually get my family home off the island!

Bad service. I wouldn't recommend this place. I brought my car in to fix a problem and they didn't fix it. And I wanted my money back and they could take the part they exchanged for me and they refused to give me my money back. Really, really bad place, don't even think about bringing your car there.
Bad service i would not recommend this place i brought my car to fix a problem and they didn't fix it instead they changed something else that was still good and when i told them that they didn't fix my car problem. I've been going to A&C AUTOSERVICES for years now and I can say without hesitation that they are one of the most reliable and trustworthy auto shops around. I have been taking my car here for the past few months since bringing it to NY from CA. I had great mechanics in CA and was nervous to try somewhere new. The staff here are so nice, really helpful, and do a great job. Prices are reasonable and I've been able to make appointments on Saturdays which is great since I work M-F in the city. Will absolutely continue to come here!

They took over the shop from a previous well-loved mechanic and they do everything they can to live up to his reputation. Always personable, always friendly, and they haven't done us wrong in all our trips there.

One of the best mechanics on the island!! I took my car for an oil change and inspection . my car was making a noise and they quickly figured out what it was !! I've told other mechanics about the noise and they never find out what it is . There was no waiting time for a Saturday so they took me in right away, all of them were really friendly. 10/10 !!

Having owned several cars and driving up to 35,000-50,000 miles in a year. I have gone to several shops in my life. I know a good shop when I see one. On top of that the people that work there are really nice. I think the prices for repairs were very good as well.Services: General repairs & maintenance
