“My two kids attended Summer Camp at the Farm this year and they absolutely LOVED IT! There was something, fun, new and exciting everyday, including an oyster farmer, veggie taste testing, collecting chicken eggs and so much more. They were just BUZZING with excitement the entire long ride home. This was an experience I'm certain they'll remember forever! It's a small group of kids, which is very hard to come by on busy, over crowded Long Island and the counselors are absolutely phenomenal! My son can be emotional and highly sensitive and the one day he was having a hard time They called me to let me know and give me the chance to try and calm him down. I would send my kiddos here any time, you won't regret it if you do! Can't wait until they can go back!”
“Molly and the staff of this agency are beautiful people. They are truly concerned with the needs of their community and definitely the “Heart of the Hamptons”. God bless them all!”
“When 'john" &/or 'Jane' Doe come out soon or later that counselor that was so "awesome" turns out to be human...i will say I've been around FSL for ...decades now, and I can't say I've heard of or experienced a outright "Awful" counselor I've never personally had the slightest issue. Note, I gave them four (4) stars solely because a few people who's judgement I take heed too from time to time have had less than necessary encountered...ok”
“Anyone who has ever had a membership at a fitness/rec facility knows that it's the staff that makes or breaks your experience. SYS is tops! From reception to cardio room -- to the smiles on everyone's faces, it's a place where one can feel included, safe and energized.”
“Well maintained waterfront area that is supported by the New Suffolk Waterfront Fund. The sign on site also talks about this area as being the first submarine base. There is parking right at the entrance, picnic tables, and a beach area where you can launch water vessels. There is also a small marina and a nearby restaurant. On a beautiful day, you can see a fair ways onto the sound. Well worth a visit if you want a quiet spot for lunch or rest while on the North Fork.”
