Dog-friendliness: Yes but on leash only

Booked a waterfront campsite, paid extra but asked for a new site because there was no privacy all the sites are on top of each other. The other site I picked was $39 cheaper for my stay and I never received my refund that I was told I would be getting.

If you have kids or pets that like to play outside at your site, this park is not the best park for you! People drive through the campground SO SO SO fast, including all of the park staff, and nothing is done about it. One of the teenagers driving a park truck was on her phone and almost drove into the backend of my husband’s truck she was driving so fast and missed the curve.
Our campsite was in a great location but had no grass at all, it was complete mud, and it rained, so it ended up being so so messy. Campsite 241… you don’t want it!
Lastly, they are not telling people that they do not have water, and haven’t since the season started. The girl at the desk that checked me in (after she finally set her phone down to talk to me) told me that “the well is broken”, but when we had to drive back out to fill up with water at the marina, he told us that it has not been operational all season. There is no pottable water at all anywhere on site, and showers in the bathhouses are limited. We spoke to several other campers who had no clue about this prior to check in and said that would have changed their plans. Thankfully we were only there 4 days so our tank held enough water to get us through.
Playground is great, if you have littles. Beach was also great and very well kept!

Been coming for years, same cabin. Never a problem. Enjoy seeing the wildlife, which is plentiful.

Nice campsites. Bathrooms acceptable. Showers Hot! Shower stalls need more than 1 hook. Will definitely camp there again.
