We had a wonderful experience working with Joe! The store was busy as it was Columbus Day, but Joe was very patient, knowledgeable, and kind with us. We went in looking for a specific online mattress to try and their prices at SleepWorks could not be beat. We are very excited to recieve our mattress now!

Just recently bought a brand new organic mattress for my bedroom from Sleepworks and I'm very impressed with the customer experience I had dealing with Joe at the Massapequa location. Joe was very knowledgeable on his inventory of orgnaic mattresses. He walked through the whole show room and showed all the mattress in great detail. He was very patient with my husband and I as we tried each of the mattresses in the showroom out. He helped us pick our new matteess by taking his time also in addressing each of wants and questions. Joe also went above and beyond by working with us on price so that cost of our new mattress would came within our budget. Delivery service was also prompt and went smoothly. I had such a positive experience that I've even referred Joe at Sleepworks to my family & friends who are looking to purchase a new mattress. Thank you Joe and the Sleepworks Delivery team for helping us with purchasing our new mattress. Can't wait to enjoy my new bed!

May back was giving me some trouble and I was not sleeping well. He recommended I get a latex bed. After a google search I found Sleepworks. Joe Bannon met me at the door and walked me through all the options. I can’t thank Joe enough, I’m sleeping really well now and my back feels GREAT!!!!

I came to try out a specific brand of (online) mattress. I asked if they give the same warranty and return terms as the brand. The reply was (paraphrased) “yeah if you don’t like it, you can bring it back in 30 days, same as them.” Which is false: this store only allows upsell exchanges, not returns, and they charge a processing fee on top of having to buy a more expensive mattress from them. While this is fairly common for mattress stores, the online brand has a 365 night trial and full free returns/refunds. The salesperson was otherwise very pleasant and I was pleasantly surprised they had the mattress for the same price as online. However, the store’s terms kept me from buying it there, and the “same as them” fib got this review written.

We needed a new mattress. We did a ton of research, and then we went to a well known chain mattress store, where we were greeted by an indifferent salesman and limited inventory. Depressed and frustrated, we went home and did more research, thinking we would just order something online... but buying a mattress without trying it out seemed risky. One of the brands we were looking at was available at Sleepworks, so we went to look at it.Jerry, the salesman who greeted us at Sleepworks, was incredibly accomodating and patient with us as he explained why the mattress we thought we wanted was not the best choice for us. He spent almost 2 hours with us and gave us quite an education in mattress types and construction, helping us to select the best mattress for our needs. He's a great salesman; he convinced us to buy the adjustable base and I'm glad he did.Delivery was fast and smooth - in fact, we had to put off delivery for a month due to COVID and other health issues and the folks at Sleepworks were very understanding, but once we were able to confirm a delivery date, the mattress and base were delivered and installed quickly and with no issues.If you are looking for a new mattress, this is the place to go!

Writing this review in the parking lot after having the most bizarre, anxiety inducing experience at a store.I came in upon opening on 2/5 for a twin mattress and the man who opened the store led me downstairs to a few options. I laid on the twin to see if it felt like the right size and inquired about a twin xl. He proceeded to tell me I didn’t need an xl because I’m short, the same size as his daughter so I’d be fine. I told him it felt a little small to me and ultimately it is up to me what feels right. He then showed me the plush and firm option and I said I definitely didn’t want the plush. He said it would be healthier for me to have the plush. I said it’s what I want and there are many studies out there and it’s all subjective. He proceeded to lecture me that because of my height and weight a plush would be factually healthier and I shouldn’t base my wants on an “old wives tale.” I was shocked at the level of tension that had built between us and wanted to respond to that but I felt so much anxiety and was so uncomfortable that I said I am leaving and he said “yeah I didn’t think it was gonna work, mattress firm is across the street.”It was one of the most awful experiences I’ve had in a store. It’s completely arrogant to tell someone what kind of mattress (or anything for that matter) would fit their needs best. And not to mention just extremely poor sales etiquette.

Sleep works was our first stop in the mattress search. I wasn't too keen on ordering mattress without testing it out and Sleepworks carried some of those brands (helix). I'm glad we went because we did not like the direct order brands - way too soft! Our salesperson, Joe had us test out several, showed us some clearance ones too since we didn't want to spend a boatload. We went with an Arctic glacier brand and it's been a dream! We purchased it on a Saturday and it was delivered Thursday. We sleep so well now being comfy (and we also got a great deal)!

I hate mattress shopping and I’ve never left somewhere more confident in my purchase. Jerry, the salesman who assisted us, was impressively knowledgeable and did everything to help us find what fit us best. He let us take our time and fielded all questions we had thoroughly. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new mattress.
