Luca is the most professional person I've ever met. He has exceptional knowledge of fireplaces and it's operations. The beauty is that he doesn't just sell the product he sells what's best for you! Which I feel is important. Not only do they install, in service, and follow through until the job is completed without any hesitation, they are always available for any questions or concerns you may have. I can't wait to do my outdoor kitchen with them.

I'm so thrilled, Luca helped me over the phone to figure out what was wrong with my gas log fireplace. I just wanted to make an appointment. But he insisted on helping me, and WE GOT IT DONE! It took three calls, but this company was there!!

Purchased a complete outdoor kitchen from Luca. Service was amazing! Was delivered exactly when they said it would be. They even made me a 3D rendering to show me what my space would look like before I purchased. Very knowledgeable about their products. Even bought a fireplace from them! Would highly recommend this place.

We needed an outdoor kitchen for our backyard and stopped into the showroom at NYC Fireplaces and Outdoor Kitchens to get some ideas. Sal and his team were great to work with and guided us through step by step. His prices were very competitive compared to other similar vendors.
Couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. They were very accommodating when our timeframe for delivery needed to be pushed back as other areas of the backyard weren't ready in time. One of the items was damaged in delivery by the carrier and Sal was quick to order a replacement.
Would highly recommend NYC Fireplaces and Outdoor Kitchens if you're looking to do a backyard project big or small.

I bought all my appliances for my backyard from NYC Fireplace. The sales people are very informative and guide you in the right direction. I had an issue with the ice maker and they took care of it right away. I would definitely recommend them.

I can’t say enough about NYC Fireplaces and Outdoor Kitchens! Sal is the kindest, most accommodating professional I have ever worked with! He always responds immediately and is thorough and keeps his word. You never have to worry. From design to construction to completion, it was a smooth and enjoyable ride! Stephanie and Sal from Nyc fireplace went above and beyond to help me out with an exchange for my Gozney pizza oven which I actually purchased directly from Gozney and it was delivered damaged, Gozney did not have the oven available for an exchange so it was either except another color oven or have nothing, Nyc fireplace worked with Gozney and myself to exchange the oven for me through Gozney even though I didn’t purchase it from Nyc fireplace, This type of customer service is in a class all by itself!! If you’re looking to buy a pizza oven, a barbecue or a fireplace, I highly suggest you contact Sal and Stephanie at Nyc fireplace. They are the best in the business.

Luca and Sal from NYC Fireplaces were both professional, responsive and helpful as my wife and I figured out what to do with our old fireplace. Luca walked me through all my options, explained all the nuances of each option we chose to ensure we made the right choice and Sal was always responsive and a great “backup” when Luca was on PTO or unavailable with other customers.
I was hesitant to convert my wood fireplace but now that I did, I’m excited to use it this winter!
It looks great and I would definitely recommend NYC Fireplaces for your fireplace needs!

I purchased an Alfa pizza oven from NYC fireplaces. Luca was a pleasure to work with. My oven had an issue that Luca resolved with the manufacturer immediately. I highly recommend NYC fireplaces and outdoor kitchens.

Sal and his team were amazing. Our neighbors referred us and we are very happy with our product! I love love love my fireplace. Working with them was very easy and stress free. They explained the entire process and were very helpful and honest. I will definitely recommend!!!!

I would give zero stars if possible! Sal is your stereotypical "whatchu gonna do 'bout it" business owner and as self-centered as they come! AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are a quick cash grab, low rent operation being run by a man who will sell you damaged goods out of the box and spin it to be your problem, not his!!!!!
I purchased a $10,000 outdoor kitchen Island through Sal and NYC Fireplace (manufactured by Tru Innovative Outdoor.) After standing up the walls and bracketing the structure together (Yes, personal assembly required); outdoor appliances should insert in to their slots and VOILA! An amazing outdoor kitchen appears. HOWEVER, in my case, the front concrete molded panel snapped during assembly cracking the concrete rendering it as useless and incapable of doing its job as Sal.
I called NYC Fireplace and explained to Sal what occurred. He responded with a perturbed despondent "I'll make some calls and get back to you" as if I just made HIS day inconvenient. He apparently is a very busy man doing very important NYC things and my $10K purchase doesn't even register on his radar. Not a single empathetic sentiment was uttered nor did a customer service centric statement fire in Sal's synapses. Did Sal apologize you wonder? NOPE! Did Sal say "Mike, we will do everything we can to make this right by you. We stand by the products we sell and I will go above and beyond to make up for this unfortunate experience you are having with a product you purchased from us"? OH ABSOLUTELY HELL NO! Did the path forward for next steps to a customer service centric solution get uttered out of his mouth? WHAT DO YOU THINK! HARD NO!! My couple phone calls to Sal after payment was made has been received with a "Quit bothering me" type of tone! Just what you would expect from someone who runs a minimum effort, maximum "What's in it for me" business. Two days in to this expensive issue, I sent a simple text asking if Sal had any updates on a resolution and I received an on-brand passive aggressive response of "U tell me."
(SIDE NOTE: TRU Innovative Outdoor, the manufacturer of the outdoor kitchen island, has been less than desirable to work with as well. Warranty phone number embedded within the assembly instructions is a disconnected line raising questions of long term viability. The phone number and message center on the company website go unresponded to. Tru Innovative and NYC Fireplace seem to have a symbiotic relationship feeding off others people's hard earned income and turning their backs once the check clears!)
I am over a week into this situation with NYC fireplaces and I still have an unuseable, half assembled, damaged structure on my deck which should have taken an hour to assemble! And I have yet to hear the following very simple common decency sentiments from Sal or any else at NYC Fireplace...
- I will work to immediately find you a replacement front panel at no charge
- We will expedite the front panel to you at no charge
- I will cover all disposal costs for the very heavy unusable broken concrete panel
- Due to all the inconvenience on such an expensive item, I will cover the cost of all further assembly efforts.
- I am so sorry this has happened. This is very unfortunate but I promise to do everything in my power and then some to correct this situation Mike. I obviously can't control that this has happened but I can and will control a successful outcome for everyone moving forward
Moral of the story? RUN! RUN! RUN! Do not stop and browse their company website. Do not call them and inquire about products or services! Do not be fooled by other reviews left by his family online boosting his rating! You deserve better products than what NYC fireplace provides and you most certainly deserve better customer service than what has b
