While I cannot speak to the companies actual performance I can inform all the 1 star overly upset people that EVERY forklift dealer/service provider charges an hourly rate AND travel time which is usually capped at 1 hour regardless is longer, if under 30 minutes sometimes a 1/2 hour will be billed for travel..... And to people saying "it takes 10 minutes to get from XXX to XXX" you must also not be aware service techs are dispatched from job to job so just because it may be a 10 min drive with NO TRAFFIC & at 3am does not mean during primetime driving time in NYC & 5 boro's that you can get to one place to another without speeding and running lights..... Many service vehichles are commerical and cannot drive on parkways, only the L.I.E and Van Wyck...... And having worked for or with handfuls of dealerships through the years especially NEW customers are always told the labor rate, travel charge, waste removal, etc.. Why? Because we do not need hole in the wall, "new" customers whom know nothing about the way this business works refusing to pay afterwards......

Nothing Pro about this company! I call for a service on my CGC25 Forklift and they charge me $217.50 ($145/hr) travel time charge and a $20.00 fuel charge for a distance of 34miles round trip. When I called to complain, they told me that I was told by the lady about the charges! She definitely lied about telling me and it seems that this is in their playbook to gouge you out of an extra ridiculous amount. Beware of these clowns. Never using them again or referring them.Just saw their response which is laughable at best. I did not get "hostile" with anyone rather I got fired up when I was lied to about having been "notified of all fees". No need to believe me people. Read the other reviews that say the exact same thing about the "travel time" fees that they DO NOT mention , or lie about mentioning before hand. What I should do is report them to the Department of Consumer affairs and the Better Business Bureau.

$337.54 charged for nothing. Came in, took the cover off of a pallet jack machine to see why it's not running, wrote a report, and says it may be the battery. Later on we double checked his diagnosis because a battery costs $2500, and found that it was just a button that was stuck. Technician didn't even think to check that, while a layman figured it out. Also demanded we cut the check on the spot, now I see why.

I'm surprised to see the negative comments upon the shop. Every experience I had here was great. The workers are very helpful and quick with their services. Also, you can't beat the prices. Highly recommended.

I wish there was an option to put not even a one star this company is a rip-off company I bought a few weeks ago a new Hilo and after just two days it stopped to work and when I call the company they're not coming down for services called a different company and he showed me that this Hilo company is not the brand name, it's a off brand not new, secondly they paint it beautiful outside it should look like new but when you open the machine you can definitely see it's a used one!My attorney is now going to file a lawsuit against this company

Don’t call them for the ANY Services, They are BIG LAIR! they were tried to charge me $240 in CASH for estimate quote just to fix the machine, and they NEVER mentioned a word when I called them. So without doing anything, they tried to charge me 1 hour commute which is from Maspeth to Elmhurst(10 mins drive), and another 1 hour of labor, which the guy was only in my shop for 5 mins to check the liftfork. And they tried to charge me $600 for little thing that cost less than $100. When I told them I need to think about the cost, they ask me to pay $240 in cash, or $261.30 in check. Stay Away from them!
