The CVS staff refuse to unlock items in the locked case when requested to purchase them, notably important medications necessary to purchase.The staff and manager claim they either do not have the key or are "waiting for the locksmith." However, this has been their practice for several years. This is likely leading to a decrease in their revenue, as customers are unable to purchase the inventory that is locked.I suspect the staff also do not want to restock items in the locked cases out of their own convenience and laziness - poor service overall.

Overpriced and no proper checkout. Pharmacy is similar to going to a DMV office. No reason to go here.

I stood on the line for so long to buy something because there was only one employee at the registers and she was busy entertainment another customer about his personal conversations. Common sense, keep the line moving. If you want to talk to a customer for 10 minutes, do not ignore the line and call for help so you can console every single customer in need of unnecessary attention.

If it were possible to give negative numbers I would. The worst, the slowest, never have prescriptions ready, always 15-20 minutes whether there are 0 people ahead of you or 100. 27 people bumping into each other behind the counter and lines 10 people deep. Then, there's the attitudes - have some humility when working with customers instead of acting like it's their fault you didn't do your job. Don't ask me if I want a prescription if it's not ready, don't tell me it wasn't sent in when it was and don't blame my doctor's office when it's your system. Pretty much all CVS's suck, but Grand Ave. Maspeth absolute worst.

I visit this CVS on a weekly basis as it has a parking lot and is very convenient for me to get to. I have yet to have experience razors and toothbrushes being locked up and it has been frustrating for me to have to ring a bell and wait each time I want to purchase toothbrushes or razors. An individual is required to go to the front to get a tool to unlock it each time someone wants toothbrushes and/or razors. Even so, its a very well organized and clean CVS. Harricharr, one of the managers, is amazing. He is very understanding, kind, and patient. He is also always smiling! He offers the best customer service compared to all CVS' I've visited. Would definitely recommend this CVS location!

Walked in, walked up to one of the staff and they stopped what they were doing and helped me, very friendly people and very helpful, and since the pharmacy near me closed this is the only place I can get my shampoo now.
