Adam is a consummate professional and very knowledgeable about the products he uses and the pieces that he creates. He helped us lay our our new kitchen with custom made cabinets. He is passionate about what he does and a meticulous craftsperson. The quality of his custom cabinets are far and above what you can get at the big box stores and/or a "kitchen design" stores. He replaced a destroyed underfloor in the kitchen with oak and blended it to match the flooring in our dining room and living room( which he refinished). He works "clean" so your home is clean before he leaves for the day. Scudder Woodworking is a local business that can add value to your home projects and ultimately your home. Adam Scudder is a very talented woodworker! He custom made window frames and storm windows for new stained glass windows that we had built for our church. It was a tricky job because he had to build frames that fit into existing irregular windows and they also had to fit stained glass that was pieced out of state and brought to Oneonta. He is very honest and charged us only for his time and materials which turned out to be even lower than his initial quote. He communicates well and is great to work with!

Adam did custom, built in closets for 2 rooms in my home. They turned out even more perfect than I could have imagined. They did exactly what I was looking for and did it in the best quality, timely manner and(to my surprise) under their estimate. If you are looking for perfection, Adam is the guy! Adam and his team are great. My wife and worked with Adam to install our new wood flooring, cabinetry, and millwork. Adam was very attentive to our finish specifications and the details with installing the floor in the best conditions. We designed the cabinets ourselves, and Adam was helpful in providing shop drawings for our approval and help us get the right finish that we wanted. I met Adam about 6 years ago. We hired him to refinish our 100 year old farmhouse dining room floor. It turned out exceptionally well.So I just hired him to make a custom item for me. I was looking for a shavehorse. I showed him a few pictures of some different types of benches. He designed one for me. Finished it in a few days. I can't wait to start making canes and walking staffs. Adam's work is outstanding.

Adam Scudder and his employees refinished my living room oak floors. They were extremely professional and promptly completed the job. He was flexible and understanding as I added another room to the job and various other add-ons.Adam built a custom oak threshold to accommodate a large gap between the wood flooring and tile flooring in the kitchen. He was easy to get ahold of and returned calls or texts promptly.I would highly recommend Adam and his employees to complete any of your woodworking needs.

Adam did a floor inlay, to repair where a wall was removed, and refinish. His workmanship is excellent. Plus his professionalism, communication and follow through were above reproach. He was very accommodating with scheduling with our fluid - somewhat unpredictable project. Very pleased with his attention to detail. He also was conscientious about clean up and minimizing dust in areas outside the work area. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone. Well worth the cost of the job.
