One of the nicest guys you will meet. Larry will do his best to take care of any of your needs (that he deals with anyways)....Its a great place to go if you want to just get the right STUFF you need without the wait of unknowledgeable staff that doesn't have a clue what your talking about and to lazy to look. Great Prices and Quality Products..

I don't know why The Ad says Bottings is Closed, Its Definitely OPEN . Larry the owner just changed his hours to a few Days a wk and if you call him he will meet you there on the days hes not open.. He still has FEED, CHAINSAW PARTS, OIL and FILTERS, hydro fluid, and alot more i'm unsure of plus Dog food in which I Purchase BLUE SEAL (Natural 26) 50 lb bags for 45 bucks in which thats a great deal and all natural food for your Dog.. The number is 315-564-7476 .. A great place to do business with and great prices and quality products.. If i'm not mistaking i believe the 2 days he is open is FRIDAY and SATURDAYS 9am - 5pm.. and like i said you can call him and he will meet you at the Shop or if hes there during the off days just swing in and knock on the door... I'm just trying to keep the business known as Larry Has helped several People for yrs including myself when others wouldn't... He deserves the business in our area not some big franchise company that doesn't give a shit about nobody but monthly profits..

This place is right out of a hallmark movie. Family run, friendly helpful customer service. I've bought a stove and tractor here, and get coal every winter.

Great staff, awesome deals on the Ferris. Made in New York, and bought locally. That's what I love

Purchase two Cub Cadet Lawn Tractors for me and my son. 72 hrs on my XT2, I discover a leaking rear axle seal. No problem, under warranty, called Bottings and they picked it up 5/4. After hearing nothing for a few weeks I call on the 21st. It's not ready and the transmission isn't here yet. Transmission ?!! I had a leaky seal! Cub decided to change out the tranny. Apparently there's an issue they don't want you to know. They tell me they ordered the part on the 14th, 10 days after pickup. The 24th I have a message the tractor is finished. I return the call on the 25th and ask when will they deliver. They don't know, they're busy. Now it's Memorial weekend and I wait till the the 29th and call again. They say they'll deliver in the next couple days. Tractor finally gets delivered on the 31st after my wife gives them a credit card over the phone for a pickup/delivery fee of $114, which was never mention before. So...my $10 axle seal with 1hour of labor was replaced with a new transmission in 27 days, with four mower borrowing trips and one "paying my neighbor" mow job, glad I had a warranty. The tractor is a nice machine but shes getting sold. I can't deal with this kind of service. I'd go into detail about contacting the manufacturer, but that's another story in it self. Buy a John Deere.

I don't give a negative rating unless it is well deserved, but in this case it is well deserved. Rather than going into a lengthy explanation here, if you are interested, go to the website for Martins Small Engine in Clyde, N.Y.. It will show you the difference in attitude and customer service and why we and our family and friends have switched to Martin's.
