Rick the jeweler is fantastic! He sold my husband my absolutely beautiful antique wedding ring. He has always been professional and courteous whenever we visit. He answers all my questions and makes suggestions, when necessary. I recommend him to all my friends and family!

I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about. Rick did a wonderful job on 2 pocket watches that have been in my family for years.He also gave me history on the watches..value and how they operated. Now that I have permanently moved to Andes he is my go to jeweler.

I went in to this so called “Establishment” to have my wife heirloom earrings bent back into shape after the years of use. Not only did he tell me it was impossible to get the dent out which I know to be a false claim jewelers of higher caliber than him I suppose he meant by the impossible. After accepting he was incapable, I browsed the shelves and notice a very unique item in his display case. A set of gold dice. Now I would never in my right mind consider purchasing a pair of gold dice but immediately the man insisted they had been passed down and there for not for sale. Understand of the situation I simply asked how much something like that would set you back. He told me • More than I would ever make in my life time.” ?

RIP OFF. if you want quality work done with out it breaking on you the next week. I suggest going somewhere else or just do it yourself. You'll be saving money and hassle in the long run. Never again will I bring anything to this place

I had a very good experience at Main Street Jewelers. I had two things that needed repairs, a necklace of my late mother's and my wedding band, which had split. The gentleman at the shop sensed by reluctance to part with my wedding ring for longer than necessary and told me that if I brought it in at end of day on Tuesday he would have it back to me first thing on Thursday as he does his repair work at his home workshop (not at the store on Main Street) on Wednesdays (when the shop it closed). I think I went in originally on a Friday so that seemed like too long to have my hand naked, right? I brought both in on Tuesday just before closing and picked up on Thursday. Both repairs were done perfectly and the cost seemed QUITE reasonable. I don't really have anything to compare it to as this was probably my first jewelry repair job. I will say that some "City" folks might look down on this quaint shop with it's no BS attitude. We moved to this area about 3 years ago and it's not the same up here as "downstate". There is no tolerance for prima donnas or pretentiousness and I personally find that quite refreshing. But anyone can appreciate good workmanship and fair prices so I think this place is a gem for those who don't need anyone fawning over them and just are looking for good old fashioned service.

This man was very rude and nasty and does not work well with dealing with the public. I was looking to do business with some more local businesses but could not leave fast enough. Do not know how someone like that lives with his own self ! What a brute you are you nasty abusive man !!!!!
