“It’s not the old Talbots where the clothing was better made. I still have clothes from Talbots that I bought 30 years ago. You won’t be saving any of these clothes for that long. Just not the same.There are always different ladies working in this store. Most of them are very helpful. Some are just there to spend the day.The main drawback is the tiny parking lot. They chose the worst location and that’s what keeps me from going there more often.”

“Great store love Macy clothes n this location but cosmetics sales help in smash box n ester lauder have attitudes. I've spent hundred of $$ over the years but yesterday I only pick up the essential items- I will go to Nordstrom for the rest. The cosmetic reps were condescending and ageist . ( ester lauder - when I advised her the foundation she put on me was too drying the gal from across several tables told me "well YOU rubbed it on so much of course it's dry". I say how bout showing me another product. I'm not 30 something maybe that is the problem??) The smash box guy appeared with dirty greasy hair made up n nail polish chipped but maybe he was being fashionable?? Echh . Anyway he tried a color in my hand which I didn't care for at all! And he said in a nasty tone " if you didn't rub it off you might like it". Again how bout showing me a different color ?? ). I walked away.”
