Terrible serivce. Will take forever to get anything done. It's like going to the dmv even with no one in the bank. You will be waiting for a long time. Zero help.

Take your accounts elsewhere.I called letting them know I was coming in one minute after 12pm and they still closed! Really 1 minute MT bank? Wow! Great customer service

Had a horrible experience with associate, Mr. Adam Kintish. I received notification today about insufficient funds. Upon calling the branch, i was told by the associate that my account was closed Nov. 14 (so I am getting notified about insufficient funds 2 weeks after they closed my account)..despite being sick I tried making every accommodation to re-open my account. Mr. Kintish told me that he would not open any future accounts for my business..when I asked for a supervisor, I was told there was no one above him that I could speak with regarding the issue. I was directed to fax a letter to the complaint line or call the customer service number on the back of the card.The pompous speech and mannerisms left me with a plethora of emotions: 1) Disappointment that Mr. Kintish was so unwillingly to assist despite my willingness to ensure adequate funds in the account today 2) shock that he had no supervisor to address his behavior or review his decision 3) left me perplexed, is this the new culture of M&T?

This bank hasn't had a flag on it's flagpole for years. If they are trying to make a statement, they have been heard loud and clear!

extremely poor customer service. Interbank electronic transfer has been "undergoing an update" since April of 2021 in is now February 2022

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but I have a new business account, (since April) and have been to the branch numerous times and everyone is always friendly. I have dealt with Rudy and Trisha in particular and they were both instrumental in getting our new account setup and helped answer any questions and concerns we had. So far I am very happy.

I switched to this bank during college as they had convenient locations both here and where I'd be going to school. I have been with them for a few years now and have great experiences. At this branch the staff is beyond friendly and some even know me by name. Very helpful and get things done efficiently. The location is very easy to get to and not too difficult to find nearby parking. They also have a small parking lot available in the back. They also have a drive thru ATM in the back parking lot. Only negative comment I have is that there have been several occasions where the ATM was not working. However, this hasn't happened lately so things are on a good track!

I am not a customer at M&T Bank however I think people should know what I encountered yesterday. I received a check from a customer that does have an account with this M&T Bank. I called the bank first to verify that the funds were available and they said yes so I proceeded to the bank to cash the check. When I arrived at the bank I gave them the check and my ID they then informed me that is was going to cost me $20.00 to cash this check. I was in disbelief! So if you are using M&T Bank they are goimg to charge the people that you give checks to. Beware they are not a customer friendly bank. There are so many other banks to use I will never use M&T Bank.
