“Really good hardware stores, are more than a nice-to-have, they're a necessity. Located on Main St, parking can be difficult at times but that's the biggest drawback. Goldberg's has just about every hardware necessity you could need; paint, tools, keys, wood glue, they got it all. Service is great as everyone working here is family and this actually cares about what they're doing. I didn't have any big questions when I was there, but I heard them helping others and they clearly know what they're talking about. Prices are reasonable.I'll take this any day over sorting through a gigantic warehouse of shit with people who don't want to be there. Local hardware stores are a godsend, and this is no exception.”

“I was visiting the area and discovered my internet, and google maps feature did not work on my phone when I got to New York from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I was on the phone to my cell phone provider tech support for 2 hours between three calls, and they couldnt figure it out. I drove around in circles for hours, from JFK airport and ended up at this shop looking for a map to buy. The owner got his son and he figured out how to download a map and use it off line. It got me to where I need to go. I wll never fotget how the little discount store in the Bronx help me out and would not accept anything in return. This tells me they are very very good people here. “This store has designers to guide you through the task of finding the perfect paint color, wallpaper, fabrics, and window coverings. I went in to choose wallpaper for an accent wall. They had hundreds of wallpaper books, it was overwhelming! Laura, one of the designers, asked what I was looking for, she pulled out several books for me to view right away. She listened to what I was trying to achieve and helped coordinate the paint colors. I sent photos of my kitchen and bathroom. She advised on paint color in kitchen and wallpaper design for the bathroom. She was spot on everything! Looks amazing! Laura has a great sense of style and trust her choices! Looking forward to working with her when I do the rest of my house.”
