I needed to have my car inspected (check engine light on) and made the mistake of taking it to the dealer. They charged me $500To run a diagnostic!! The estimate came to $6k. I was beside myself. I went to Doug’s Foreign car service. He knew immediately what needed to be done and fixed the problem for a few hundred. He is such a NiceStandup, honest, reliable guy who knows what he is doing. I would recommend him and his team to everyone.

My grandfather went to Doug, my father went to Doug, I go to Doug. Doug is the only mechanic in lower Westchester that I would trust to work on my vehicle. The best of the best.

I have been coming to Doug's for over thirty years. His shop actually does repairs correctly using the correct parts and the correct oil. My car takes a special oil which Doug stocks and makes sure by actually checking the book and verifying the oil is correct. He uses correct OEM parts and does not and will not use cheap aftermarket crap. He will repair what needs repairing and unlike a dealer he will not try to sell you repairs that you do not need. His Technicians are not paid on a "Flat Rate" and they do not rush through the repairs to get to the next repair as quickly as possible so they make more$$ and you get substandard work.

Doug promptly identified how a Mavis shop had improperly installed the bar lock nuts on my tie rods, resulting in a rattling noise I never had before going into them for an inspection. He also found that Mavis had destroyed the axle seal flange on my CV axle, resulting in a burning smell from leaking CV fluid after Mavis had handled the car, again something that was not there before Mavis had handled the cat. Doug fixed both problems quickly and at a honest price. He restored my faith in the auto repair business.
