I wasn't going to write this review until I saw a similar review for my issue. I've been a Chase checking customer for decades including 2 credit cards. I have a large amount of cash in my checking not collecting interest. Decided to loan some out so I needed a bank check and a Promissory note notarized. While looking for a bank in the Nassau area to do both at the same time (that's where the borowwer is from), I couldn't get in touch with any branches on the phone ( tried about 6 and no one answers). So while searching for branches in the area online, I couldn't understand all the bad reviews for many since my own Chase branches were courtestous and helpful to loyal customers. Well now I know why. My borrower had stopped into this particular branch and told me a notary was working. So I drove an hour to this branch and told the rep exactly what I was there for. Double checked that a notary was working and she said yes. Never said, not available. She said she would process the bank check first. After giving me the bank check, suddenly the notary wasn't available. Not out to lunch, just not available with no customers in the branch. Starts asking me if I made an appointment. She did try to spreak to a male rep in the next booth twice but he did everything in his power to not help and didn't. I over heard lame excuses. Told her that I didn't need the check without the notary, and I drove here an hour. I would have just gone somewhere else. I've gotten many notaries from my own branch as a courtesy on a moments notice. So now they sent me to another bank and it was done in less than 5 minutes. It actually took me longer to drive to the second bank than it did to get my notary. Obviously this isn't the branch to get a notary but I wouldn't even give Chase my business at all, after this experience, if my own branches weren't so much better. I look foward from hearing from the branch manager if they'd like to challenge my review.

I never leave reviews. I was so annoyed, i had to this time.. I have my business account here. I do a lot of business. I was just told by the manager (who is also the notary) that she doesn't have 2 mins to notarize something for me shes too busy today. There was 1 person waiting. She was super nice when she wanted my business though....I will probably close this account and go to a bank that appreciates their clients. ESPECIALLY their business clients. So much for "platinum" business checking.

Very nice people but a bit of a waste of space. No tellers and the employees sit there with next to nothing to do. Not the best if you want teller service, although the employees are very kind and helpful. Very clean and updated interior.

I have been here for 2 years (from bay shore) and this is the defaulted Chase that was closest. The building is clean, staff are nice and when I had a problem arise from the Franklin Avenue Branch Jon fixed it without any hesitation and helped the process be a smooth transition. I like this branch, but I warn you there are no teller services here, similar to DC.

I don't know whose bright idea it was to get rid of all the tellers! This branch has NO TELLERS anymore!!! Just one ATM machine inside and 2 in the vestibule. Oh and don't look to anyone there to help you if you forgot your debit card or need certain bills or change. If I carried my debit card around I would just go to an ATM. Why else would I step foot into your location

This location is a joke! First, there's no tellers, there is only a machine! When you use the machine, there's technical difficulties! First guy uses the machine and gets the error message and gets assistance instantly from the three staff that's there literally just babysitting the customers that comes in! A female customer makes a deposit and has no issues, of course no error when taking people's money! I use it the machine and there's the technical issue error! The staff legit looks at me and goes "oh well come back later!" I said you can't help me like you help me like you helped the first guy that got the same message? And they looked at me and said "nope come back later!" Nasty workers who are selective on who they want to help! Such a disgrace! This place will make you will make you want to close your accounts!

Been a customer for many years at Chase. I will be pulling all my accounts from there ASAP. Including my 2 sons. We were never informed bank will no longer have tellers, even though I'm there literally every 10 days. They have one machine for customers, what a joke! Went today to pay lovely school taxes which is a big enough bill as it is, and of course town of hempstead doesn't accept personal checks. So I always hit a bankers check with no fee at chase ( loyal 25 year plus customer) only to be told there is an $8 charge. They wouldn't waive the fee now and for now on. Another institution screwing the customers!!!

It's sad Chase Bank is a typical bank with endless fees never happy with just providing almost a zero interest rate even though the interest rate should be at least 2% now! I've been a customer for close to 15 years only after they bought out a prior bank. I have several accounts and even with the low interest rate typically keep tens of thousands of dollars. Over the years I've moved to online banks that ACTUALLY treat you well and give you a REAL interest rate. So I keep as little as possible now with Chase to avoid being slowly bled dry. I had to do a wire transfer which cost me $25 - yes NICE fee to move MY money to make a payment on something. I went in person today to see if they could perhaps wave another fee I have to incur for the same business today as they need me to wire to a separate account. Yes, I understand this is a separate transfer but you would think after 15 years of piss poor interest rates you might give me a break. I guess I was wrong, the woman at the bank said only if I was a Sapphire Client. Yes, because nothing says customer service like telling you to up your account to something that would yield me even less money. If not for some linked joint accounts I would not ever have an account with Chase. I will continue to keep the minimum in my accounts to avoid any other fees. If you are thinking of opening an account with Chase, go elsewhere.
