Stumbled across this place and decided to take a walk inside. Spent about 10 min with the owner Louie talking about a few different items he had. I showed him a picture of a Fender Vintera II in Lake Placid Blue, and he offered me about 15% more than 4 other shops! I've since bought and sold numerous items with Louie and have never felt that I was on the losing end of any deal we made. If you're looking for an HONEST shop that won't try to shake you down, then this is the place.

The XTRA CHANGE is honestly such a cool place to visit and check out. There’s an impressive amount of stuff ranging all the way from power tools to video games, memorabilia, collectible figurines, all good stuff. The owner Louie is really kind and it’s always a pleasure to go into that store.

Lots of hidden Gems. This is not like your normal Pawn shop that everything is behind a glass wall. You can walk around and browse. He has a huge selection from collectables to modern items. I got lost in the selection multiple times. Very organized as well. Great prices. The owner has a great and nice attitude. Definitely will be coming regularly to find any hidden gems.

Awesome store with awesome stuff. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable. He always helps meOut with pricing and understanding the products and their worth . He takes the time with each person to hear what they are looking for. Very fair and balanced. There has been many times where I will contact him about a certain item and he will direct me where to go. So many cool things in the store as well.

Such a gem to have in our area! Always has a different choice of surprises to choose from. The owner, Louie knows everything about his stock and loves to give recommendations, whether it be for a gift or something for yourself. I try to get there as much as possible to see what’s new.

Xtra change in Mahopac is greet spotTo find something. He always has cool stuff and such a mixture of items to look at. The owner, Lou, is approachable and knowledgeable in many different fields. I haven’t sold anything to him personally but have been there countless times listening to him and. Customers interact and the customer always seem to leave happy, satisfied and with one less thing then what they walked in with lol. If you’re looking for something different and unique for a gift or yourself def check this place out. I personally have purchased two items here that made people very happy.amd the prices were excellent. Best around no doubt.

Great spot ! Always gotten great classic gaming things in working condition, vintage lighters , graded comics , and graded baseball cards , some 14k rings. Never had an issue with authenticity here with any of the items I’ve bought. Feels like they take that extra step to make sure they sell reputable merchandise. Always new things every time i go

If you've just driven by and have not walked in, you are truly missing out. Let me begin by saying that I decided to walk in because I was interested in selling a few things and found this location on google with 4.2 stars and took a chance that was well worth my time. I'd like to begin by saying that once I entered, I was welcomed through the door with kindness by the owner Louie. He takes his time to see if he can give you a good deal for what you've got and will be 100% with you if he feels that what you may have may be beyond what he would know to offer or if it's just simply not for his location. His shop is not a pawn shop, it is a collectible memorabilia shop. You find some hidden gems in there that will take you back to that time you were a kid opening that new toy your family got you. He has cards, figures, toys, collectible kitchen items, name brand clothes/bags, sports, collectible knives and more. Everything you would ever need would really be here. And if you play instruments, there's probably something there for you too! I always call ahead to make sure that I don't waste gas with these prices now of days but even if I don't make a sale or see something to buy, his conversations are truly something special and enjoyable!
