We are among the first pet people to use the services of SPAHin the early 80’s. I was excited to bring my pets to a women led veterinary hospital - a rarity back in the day. Every person at SPAH is skilled, professional, compassionate and loves animals.When our current cat was very ill, the doctors suggested a complicated surgery, but they left the choice to us and never ran a guilt trip on us as some vets might have.Today our boy is healthy and stays at the Meowiott when we are away. BTW he and his parents love his “report cards” after his sleepovers.Thank you everyone at SPAH! from Mr Dude and his humans.

Dr Fixman et al took such loving care of my dog Anakin, and now they care for Lake, my 6 yr old poodle mix. Dr Fixman is kind, understanding, thorough, and maintains relationships with specialists who served/serve me and my animal friends do well. The front desk staff are the best and the techs are real pros. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

Staff is very friendly ,caring and knowledgeable. When I had my puppy spayed, they knew I was very nervous. They calmed me down and put me at ease and called me when they were done. Loved those puppy parties also!

The care and kindness my dog receives at South Putnam is unmatched. They came highly recommended and it's easy to see why! My timid girl is actually excited to go in and see the staff. I trust them and feel very at ease. Couldn't recommend them more!

I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. Everyone was very friendly. It was my first time here but you could tell as people came in that they knew their patients and that is always a good sign. The vet techs were super sweet and it was obvious how much they love animals. The vet was very easy to speak with and she addressed all my concerns and really listened. You don’t find that a lot these days with any kind of doctor. It was refreshing and I will continue to bring my pup here.

They always give my dog the best care, treating him with care and love. The staff is also all great and they are very organized and friendly. Every time I come in with an appointment slot, I am quickly taken care of and it's in and out. Love and recommend this place highly for your furry friends!

I highly recommend South Putnam Hospital. The professionalism of the entire staff exceeded my expectations. The vet took her time to explain everything in detail to my husband and I regarding our fur baby. I will continue to give them my business!

We have used South Putnam for over 25 years. Generally my dogs see Dr. Fixman who has always been knowledgeable and compassionate. Would highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their pet.

My significant other and I just got a mini australian shepard puppy. We decided to come to SPAH based on others who recommended it.I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment. The doctors are well-knowledge, and kind hearted, as well as the rest of the staff.Thank you SPAH for making me and Rose feel so comforting! We appreciate you!

The owner? I think.. with the black kitty is my absolute favorite. She’s the sweetest and makes the environment feel so welcoming. I recommend this place to everyone always! So affordable, so friendly, so informative. I only wish they’d send me pictures of my kitty so I didn’t miss him so much!

Dr, Fixman has seen my pets come and go for approx 20 years absolutely trust her decisions with my dogs.i prefer doctors that aren't alarmist and Dr, Fixman is a great fit for me and my pets.ladies at front desk have been there for as long as i can remember and they are very knowledgeable and always friendly!techs are also very friendly and sweet,My latest puppy had some issues at the start and Dr, Fixmans team took great care of her and now my puppy loves going to the vet !!! Not kidding she really loves it !
