All the girls at the front office are so nice, professional and a pleasure to deal with and always very responsive. Dr. Moore takes her time and thoroughly checks our dog and cares about you and your pet. Truly a dedicated team at Mahopac Animal Hospital

Up date an rebuttal I don't think anyone would think that I (a rather small 70 year old lady) was a threat to ANYONE because she said to the receptionist that " your new vet was so annoying I felt like choking her". I thought I was doing you a favor because you had just let a vet go after less than a year because your patients parents were complaining about him. I went to you because my dog had an ear infection, your new vet claimed she didn't and refused to give me MEDICATION. I then took my dog to Mohegan Lake Veterinary Hospital where Doctor Belvedere diagnosed her with a Bacterial infection and put her on Mometamax 15g. Thank the stars, I was able to get my poor uncomfortable dog treated correctly by a good vet.

Dr. Moore is by far the best Veterinarian in the area. She treats all my dogs like her own and honestly provides the best care. She is extremely knowledgeable and committed to her profession. I would not trust the care of my animals with anyone else. The office is very clean and all the staff are kind and helpful.

Dr. Moore has been treating our beagle Ziggy since July 2023, and we couldn't be happier. She is always conscious of our concerns as dog parents and always takes the time to ask if anything new is going on the household, especially since we've been faced with some behavioral issues lately. She focuses on the entire family and is not quick to medicate, which we certainly appreciate. This place is the ONLY building Ziggy will rush to enter--he is so skeptical and anxious when it comes to new places and people, but loves the folks at Mahopac Animal Hospital. Thank you all for listening to my adventures as a new dog mom and for taking care of Ziggy!

I have been seeing Dr. Scaperotti for a while and would definitely recommend him to anyone. He thorough on all exams, he takes his time and explains things so you can understand it. Especially as your dog or cat gets older. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Not once have I had a bad experience here. I’ve been bringing all my animals for six years and they treat them like family, not farm animals. If I have a question, it is answered, and they always call to check how everyone is doing the next day after shots or procedures. Just really nice folks.

Have been using MAH for 12 years, they have always been compassionate, caring and have genuine concern for our pet, from yearly check ups, emergency visits and several surgeries. The staff is the best, thank you.
