“Why are all Trader Joe’s parking lots so small? It’s always busy but that being said I do think the employees are super helpful and the people in our neighborhood are nice so it’s never a huge issue. We go every other week for their tortillas and to stock up on a few frozen meals as needed. The seasonal sweets are a favorite as well.”

“I cannot stress how lovely this place is!!! Their cooked fresh food is awesome, and it was nice that they provided samples. Fairly priced too in my opinion (I believe it's 11 or 12 dollars flat rate to fill a takeout container 12-13" in diameter). Their selection of ingredients and snacks to buy is pretty good too considering that it's small.
Once my mom and I went there and she asked if they had Soan Papdi, and they didn't, but offered to order some for us. Next time we came in a week or two later, they had it! I think that is next level, and super sweet that they would do that.
The couple who own the place are such kind people, and it's always a pleasure to talk to them. So, not only is it a great and rare spot to find Indian groceries/food, but it is a business I want to support!”
“You wouldn't expect it from a quick look at the consumer entrance, but Ace Endico is a foodie's paradise. It looks a bit rough, but my oh my, it's oh so tasty.... Ace prepares and packages and distributes over 15,000 food products to restaurants, country clubs, grocery stores, and neighborhood bodegas, stretching from Maine to Pennsylvania. They own many of the companies in their supply chain, produce many of the products on their shelves, and train chefs to incorporate their foods in creating new recopies. The retail outlet is located in one corner of its own massive food center in Brewster. They're currently expanding their footprint and seem almost ready to move into a far larger retail space. Depending on whom I ask, the new space will be up and running "in a month at most", "maybe two or three", or "pretty soon".... If you're mostly indifferent to food, this is not your store and odds are high you'll hate it. But if cooking and eating make your heart & soul sing, you are about to meet your newest best friend. The current entrance is humble at best. Tucked into a corner of their vast lot, it passes through industrial racks of soda cases, big boxes of heavy-duty cleaners, and lines of paper towels. Not auspicious, but trust me, keep walking. The good stuff is ahead. Behind its checkout lanes are shelves and racks jammed to the rafters with pastas, rows of sauces, lines of syrups, stacks of spices and more than eyes can possibly grasp in a single visit. There are no signs, no markings, no clue to move right (toward industrial-sized bags of pastas) or left (to coffee and cookies for peckish customers). I usually start with a bit of coffee and a cookie. Or maybe two if Alicia's not looking. There's a section of fresh fruit and veggies, most (but not all) priced well below retail. On a recent visit, large plump avocados were $1.25 and heirloom tomatoes sold for $3.25/pound, about half what I pay at my local store. I've never gotten better-priced, fresher, firmer mushrooms anywhere. Except my own back yard. There are rows of imported olive oils and a wide variety of coffees from Italy. I don't know these brands (yet), but if they're most everything here, I expect it'll be a wonderful learning experience. Fresh fish is to the left, arrayed on crushed ice, changing with the daily catch. A small shelf holds about a dozen imported jars (not cans) of tuna that I'll save for my next time. This trip I got a piece of wild-caught Atlantic salmon and a dozen jumbo shrimp. The mussels were tempting but have been so over-harvested they're far too small for the bother. The fish monger behind the counter seemed to know seafood well and was wonderfully direct about what was good that day, what was not, and what's likely due tomorrow. Just past the seafood are racks of cakes and imported cookies in what seemed to be almost endless variations. Among them were (at least) two dozen varieties of Loacker Quadratini (bite-sized, layered wafers) selling for about a third the price on Amazon. (Yes, they are amazing.) Beyond that, jammed into another corner, are pots and pans and baking sheets, pizza peels, kitchen knives, storage bins, and mountains of take-out containers. Ahead is a wide array of consumer-size salamis, prosciutto, soppressata, mortadella, and pancetta, many uncured and unprocessed. And gigantic loaves suited for commercial delis or once-a-hundred-year family reunions. Don't be surprised if standing next to folks from your local bodega buying the same foods you are, at the same price you're about to pay. Here. Definitely not there... There is one long aisle of frozen goods stacked with massive bags of prepared frozen chicken and fish and fries and dumplings of all sorts. Plus many in consumer-size (though still pretty large) bags. Across the narrow aisle, more floor to ceiling freezers are jammed with an array of restaurant-quality deserts in both feed-an-army size and just-for-me cups. My single-serve chocolate ”

“This is one of the best food markets you’ll find in the area. I drive 30 minutes to go there because it’s worth the drive. They have food you won’t see in other typical markets. Good pastries and take out meals which are fresh and cooked that morning.”
“Tops used to be 24/7 but since covid they now close at 10pm which sucks for me lol. It has a small fruit and vegetable section however they usually have one or two unique pieces of fruit or vegetables that my daughter and I love to try. There store brand items are usually just as good as the name brand. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Oh and if you forget your bags they sell both paper and recyclable.”

I highly recommend taking a look at their prepared meals too. I picked up the most delicious carrots as well as potato pancakes. Add any of these items to your meal and reduce your turnaround time. Your guests will delight in seeing you join them at the table sooner. The old-world charm here is welcoming, and the bakery counter sure comes in handy! Definitely worth shopping here..”
“The store itself is clean and fine! I am not writing my review for the store in particular however they do have a worker there who I think is a phenomenal asset to their store and I wanted to bring attention to him. His name is Thomas and I often catch him in the parking lot collecting carts or in the vegetable department. He has been there for many years he always wears a hat and has glasses. I have never seen a store employee who always has such a positive attitude. He always greets me with a handshake and today I was in the store for the first time in maybe a year and he called me by name and I was completely in shock! I have never seen him not working hard and he is such an asset to your company. I hope everyone gets a chance to meet Thomas because he is purely a delight! “I was really happy coming the other day. Usually I do my shopping in the evening but had to pick up a few things on the way to work a the store just opened. I couldn’t find what I was looking for. An employee saw this an asked if I needed something even though he just finished his overnight an clocked out. He showed me where it was an was extremely pleasant. Chris went above and beyond unlike the kids at night who run away when I’m looking lost. Overnight employees are the best!!!”

“For years I used to stop at this store for groceries, before De Cicco's opened up a big store in Somers, much closer to home. The convenience of the location won, but the newly opened electric charging station in Goldens Bridge brought me back to revisiting the ACME right next to it. That made me rediscover how much more affordable the prices are. As charging can easily take 20-40 min even with EA fast charging, that turns out to be the perfect time to buy groceries at ACME instead of just waiting. Good selection of food items, excellent prices, lovely people at the registers...”

“Good gas station that usually has most pumps available. Best price in the area!We are always careful not going during busy hours because it can get rally hectic with a long line.Convenient that you can pull the gas hose around so you can just take the next available station without waiting for one that lines up the with correct side of your car and just pull the hose around instead.”
