I had been getting my flu shots at a senior center where Medicare covered the entire cost. Then, the politician who sponsored the free shots got convicted of corruption and the process came to a halt. I saw Dr. Nussbaum's office near my home and called to ask about the price of a flu shot and was told there was no charge. I made the appointment, got the shot, and was handed a bill for $50. I asked the office manager and she said, "There is no cost for the shot; you are paying for the office visit." Incidentally, the shot didn't work.
We settled on $25. I suggest you find a different doctor.

From what I understand this individual used to be a stand up guy, but that is no longer the case. He forced me to come in for a “6 month check up” which I have never had to do but I thought maybe this was a new standard so I went to the appointment. He came in, made a couple bad jokes, and left. Then his office charged me $300 for the visit, which my insurance did not cover because 6 month check ups aren’t actually a thing. I was CHARGED $300 for 3 MINUTES of nothing. This guy might have been a good doctor before he sold out to Northwell but he is now just another CROOK trying to take everything he can from your insurance company and then YOU when your insurance refuses to cover it.Do Not Trust Him

Dr. Nussbaum is great. Just don't get sick and hope to get an appointment when you need it. He's always booked.

I saw Dr. Nussbaum today. I was very pleased with his professionalism, sense of caring and competency. He also has a great sense of humor. I felt at ease throughout the session. I felt that I was in company of a professional who cares.

I’ve been going to dr nussbaum since I’m about 7 years old I’m 32 now . He is literally the best doctor around ! I wouldn’t go to anyone else .

Dr nussbaum is a great doctor. BUT if you call the office it will take a looong time before they answer the phone. And their response is always : we are having troubles with our phones. Really?

Dr Nussbaum is the best. The front office is the absolute worst, lazy, apathetic, slow. Can't say enough bad things about the office staff. Horrible horrible horrible

I have know Monte since 1982. it's a lost art when your doctor is happy to see you and really cares enough to even give you a hug when he sees you. He is down to earth, knows more than even some specialists, and, most importantly, HE CARES! He was so on target with most of my issues even after seeing doctors whose specialties involved Dermatology, cardiology, infectious diseases, etc. Love This Guy! always asks about my wife Chris who also loves him. Knowledge is power and he is POWERFUL!!!!

I’ve known Dr. Nussbaum over 30 years! We met when he worked with Dr. Hodes Sr.He has been a great doctor since day one! He has taken care of my 3 daughters! He is compassionate, cares for all of his patients! He has a GREAT disposition, bedside manners are real!! I highly would recommend him to everyone!
