“I'm seeing some negative reviews and it's hard for me to understand. The folks at this location were the nicest and easiest to deal with people I have met at a rental place. I was in for a collision rental and they were clear on everything, got me a good, clean car, and were relatively quick about it. If it's crowded, like Monday morning, it can take a bit but they acknowledged me and I didn't mind the wait. I had to take another car to get there and obviously couldn't drive 2 cars so they had someone bring the rental to my house. Overall an excellent experience. My only negative might be that they didn't have some of the nicer cars like I have had at other branches but it's all good”

“Ava is amazing everytime I visit Budget Lynbrook she treats me with care and patience. She’s the epitome of customer service and I really appreciate her. I was running late to pick up my rental and she waited for me. Most places wouldn’t wait after closing but she did and on my birthday she was so patient with me. I really appreciate her and all she did.”

“Let me start by saying how grateful I am for the customer service that Jhigs and Vonna provided. I had reserved an SUV for Saturday. I arrived at or about 11:30 am to pick it up, however they only had electric cars. This became a huge inconvenience because I needed an SUV for where I was traveling- 3 hours away to see my kids. I was going to take them bike riding in the trails. Anyway, chargers out there a few and far. I had to waste an hour of my precious time to charge the car up to be able to return to NY. So when I returned home today, I went to 2 different charging stations but they were all full. When I returned the car, I explained to Jhigs the situation and asked if she can waive the fee they charge for not returning the car on a full charge. She granted the waiver and had Vonna, who is a sweetheart, take care of me. With all that said, you have to understand it’s not the employees that are responsible for not having sufficient vehicles for specific cars- it’s Hertz and sadly, they leave the burden on the employee. Being in customer service myself, I am fully aware how things work with corporations and ask that if any future customers experience some sort of inconvenience, that is beyond control of the employees, to understand and not take your frustrations out on them, because there’s only certain things they can do to accommodate. My recommendation is to show up as early as possible to ensure your car is available.”
