Found Polly on google and booked a private cooking lesson for my 11 YO Daughter and I. Had such a great experience! She explained so much including safety, cross contamination and of course the fun part how to cook! Would definitely recommend!

Recently had the opportunity to experience a personalized private class at A la Carte. Polly designed an adult beverage class around our requests and specifications. A la Carte Culinary Services is a 21-year-old cooking school and culinary center originally focusing on recreational cooking classes. Since closing the space in Lynbrook in October 2020, it has blossomed into a consumer-oriented culinary advice center. Virtual and small private in-person cooking classes are available. Owner, Polly Talbott, CCP is also the owner of ChowLingo.com, a program featuring videos for language classes (in English) on the classic cuisines of France, Italy or Spain and Latin America.
