“This is one of the oldest stores in town. The owners are pretty nice and the customer service is great. On Fridays, religiously, they close from 12:30-1:30pm for Prayer.”
“The atmosphere is definitely bargain outlet. Prices are reasonable, but check the expiration date on food items, I find it usually is within 2-3 months. Usually only 1 cashier, which can create long check out lines at times. Staff does not appear to be overly friendly.”
“Went there a few weeks ago to their new bridal boutique portion. The staff was so friendly and helpful and made the experience so fun. All of the dresses are new never used just been tried on. It was a private experience and we were never rushed. I found the perfect dress! I highly reccomend making an appointment as well as checking out their thrift shop!”

“I like Five Below. They have reasonable pricing and tons of interesting stock in the store. There is a huge selection of various products (in a relatively medium size store) including clothing, womans beauty products, odd electronics, pet supplies, candy, party supplies, and most important to me, toys.
I collect toys and also use them in creating my own art and swing by once a month to see whats new. I always find something I want. Right now 1980's toys and miniatures are popular, and Five Below has lots of both! I was so happy to find mini plastic lockers (with a little doll) that I bought four because I have an artistic concept they are perfect for.
I'm giving a four star review because of the greeting, staffing and overall state of the store. Every time I go in the store it is in complete dissaray with merchandise. Frieght boxes to be put on the shelves are on the floor everywhere (but I may just be consistantly arriving on days they get a shipment?) The shelves and pegs are absolutely packed to the point you can't easily shop and there is actually too much to look at. I know that sounds weird but it really is overwhelming. I'm pretty sure that inorder to see everything there I would have to stay overnight.
As far as the greeting, please stop making the staff scream "Welcome to Five Below" from wherever they are in the store every time someone enters. It's not neccessary because:
A: I know what door I walked through
B: it is completely not genuine and everyone knows it. There is no way it will ever increase my spending.
C: I cringe hearing it because I imagine the employees vocal cords are raw. Im sure there are lots of worker comp cases for that.
In conclusion, please hire more staff at a livible wage so they can stock and more genuinely greet me as I browse. I will still encourage everyone to go to Five Below because of their neat cheap items, but be prepared to stay a while or visit multiple times. They also have the biggest selection of candy and snacks so you won't starve :).

Jennifer kindly created this beautiful balloon bouquet interactively over the phone selecting the products online with me while i sat across the coast in CA for my sons birthday to be delivered local using an instacart order i created.Jennifer was so kind and SUPER CREATIVE and HELPFUL! The price is a fraction from ordering from anywhere ! I think the store should advertise "ballon bouquet" as a paid service on instacart as i paid barely 12.50 all inclusive for the product and extra $ to instacart total $21 for this bouquet! “The owner of the store gives super good customer service, I ended up buying a really high-quality jacket there at a great price. I would definitely recommend this store if you are in Albany and looking for an army navy store. They have a lot of clothing and also knives and some other accessories but I did not get a full chance to look around the store so there’s probably a lot that I did not even see. It’s not a huge place but it’s very conveniently located and definitely worth checking out.”

“First, let me say this searching for sale items on Saturday is fun. My husband's at work, and I don't have anything to do so I wanted to try this. I went to a Dollar General that was a little way out; the drive. I used the app for the first time which tells me what items are in stock. To my surprise though there were a lot of people in the store looking for the deals. Ran into this ridiculous a** Karen who later heard me listening to an IG video publicizing the sale and wanted to talk. I'm in line checking out and she's like oh where did you find this... Chick, please. The cashier said they prepare on Fridays for the sale and make sure things are in their place. I found that many items were hidden and/or out of place. All were in stock. Nevertheless, I believe this hack would have worked for me. Except I couldn't help with picking up other items on sale. I don't think I'll come back to this location to shop. Just because outside of Karen, there were some pretty aggressive other shoppers also looking for Saturday sales. That's nothing against the staff who were very friendly and helpful. But I prefer to shop with people who have manners. I added a video here of me trying to use a brown stick to get a power wash that was on sale but hidden on top shelf behind Palm Olive.”
“Went in there store today and I was verbally assaulted had to wait in line 15 minutes just so I could be treated like I was taking up too much of the cashiers time no worries I would drive to ny city before I ever go in this disorganized store again I don’t want to give this store any stars the food is old the frozen food is freezer burnt be careful purchasing there stuff besides them dollars add up and you end up with a lot of worthless merchandise”

“Fun, clean, good flow, many products are $5 and $4 dollars. Really have to watch the prices. Products never stick around long. When they're in the front seasonal section on the right and only a few are left, they either get moved to the back or on a table in the front, on the left at a discount price. They also have separate standing racks that are separate vendors. Not affiliated as a five below product. They are a vendor product. Will vary per store. Be careful on the purchase.”
