HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SRRVICE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I contacted "Richy" on 12/15/23 for my mothers diabetic orthopedic shoes, I told him she has Medicare and Medicaid. He requested pictures of her ID and insurance cards. She reached back out today 1/17/24 and he denied ever having spoken to her or I (her daughter), I texted him a screen shot of the messages as a reminder and let him know I look forward to a response. He read the message immediately and left me on "read". Again. I called back Elmhurst hospital provider and complained that this company, Richy specifically, is purposefully unresponsive. They placed me on hold and contacted him. While I was on hold, he texted back. It took the provider to reach out in order to receive half an answer. I highly recommend you DON'T waste your time with this company, your loved ones or yourself will not get the proper care or medical supply. Owners/managers/providers should be advised. I

Worst service ever ! Denied to even look at my wheelchair for a repair , i told them i will be paying out of pocket and they still denied me because i have medicaid ! They complain about not being paid for repairs but im in a desperate need to fix my chair so even with me willing to pay out of pocket for repairs they still denied to give me ANY TYPE OF SERVICE!!!! I am a T4 complete injury meaning paralyzed from my chest down ! My wheelchair is the way i get anything done and they do not want to help me just because i have a medical insurance that i wasnt even trying to use as a form of payment. Horrible people horrible service i dont know why anyone would refer them. Theyre money hungry and dont give people with disabilities a chance.You guys are unprofessional over the phone and didnt bother to hear me out , medicaid didnt pay for my chair nor do they pay for any repairs WHICH IS WHY i told you that i would pay out of pocket. You talk this way through a review but over the phone you guys arent professional at all mind you i actually buy medical supplies from you guys all the time ! Definetly taking my business elsewhere , you guys dont deserve business from honest people especially people with disabilities. You literally told me “ even if you give me a million dollars i wouldnt help you” thats how you talk to your customers ? What a joke

I understand that working with insurances can be very tough. Zarman went out of there way to get my mothers wheelchair approved, after numerous companies did not want to take the assignment. After a few months, and back and forth with the insurance my mother go the wheelchair she wanted. Thank you very much.

Went to Zarman after going to a few local places in the city. Besides the prices being almost 40% lower then what was quoted to me, the owner was EXTREMELY helpful. Thank you for making my first scooter purchase very easy.

I called about a patients broken wheelchair (that was purchased through this surgical supply) the company is refusing to come and pick up the wheelchair stating patient (that is wheelchair bound) needs to drop it off in order to have repaired, mind you medicaid will pay for repairs so its not something that's done for free. This is the first time i have ever heard of a company not willing to assist in repairs by coming to patients home or sending truck to pick up motorized wheelchair.... Making sure none of patients ever go to this surgical supply and will also call medicaid and submit a complaint so that they know not to refer to this surgical company when patients are in need of higher end products. Don't go to this company do your research even as i went to write this review i've read multiple negative reviews, if you need assistance finding a good surgical supply ask your Drs office they usually work with certain companies based on reliability and positive outcomes for past patients.

I was able to rent a standard wheelchair for a month for $75 (plus a $100 refundable deposit). The wheelchair was brand new and perfect for my needs. What really put them over the top was I called them the day before Christmas asking to rent a wheelchair- They were about to close and literally kept the store open for me to come pick up the wheelchair. LIFE SAVERS! I am so thankful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Would highly recommend using them if you're looking for wheelchair rentals. Very nice people!

I was looking for a wheelchair for my grandmother. I went to a couple of places, and Zarman was the most economical in price. Besides pricing they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.

Not even one star. This place reeks of deception, lies, and unprofessionalism. For a "store" that should help people, they add more stress and anxiety than anything. Agreed with other, their goal is to rip you off as much as they can then get mad when you call them out on it. Shady people, shady store, suspect products. Trying to see me a used item and claiming its new while it clearly was worn and dirty. YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN MY MOTHER MORE SICK! HOW DARE YOU!

For an entire month now I have been getting many different excuses on why I haven't received my foot brace. All they needed was approval from my health insurance and they got that and I'm still waiting. For 1mnth and a half they had my prescription. Honestly what kind of costumer service is this.

Rented an electric wheelchair for 8 weeks. They delivered and picked it up exactly as promised. Didn't even ask for payment until it was picked up. It wasn't billed through insurance so I can't comment on that process. Wheelchair was great. Operated properly and really looked brand new. I am going to use them again.
