After going to almost all the antique stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, I can comfortably say that this is THE best in NYC. Every single item in this small and (somewhat) messy store can be a centrepiece in its own right- and best of all, they are actually AFFORDABLE- a rarity in the city.
This is the only store where I can say that the prices are actually good- not just fair, not just reasonable, but GOOD. Almost every item you see, you can take back home without hurting your wallet. It’s worth spending a couple hours to dig around. The owner is polite and friendly.

This establishment is fantastic and well needed here in Long Island City. It is a treasure to say the least. It is filled with amazing items that range from antiquity to yesterday. I was particularly impressed with their MTA coins and other coin collections. The owner is friendly, caring, and patient.

Super kind owner. Very friendly. Gives good deals if you are a return customer. Nyc doesn't have a lot of antique stores that aren't super expensive and high end. This is just the perfect little hole in the wall antique store packed full of treasures at amazing prices. Cash only but there is a bank on the corner. If you like to dig around this is your spot!

I am a supporter of small businesses. The Underpenny Museum has a large collection of antique items to see for a good price. It is located in the Hunter Point neighborhood and the owner is friendly. This place has been around for a long time. However, I would like to see it more organized, and not displaying all the inventory at once. Maybe, showcasing selected items in digital frames, binders or iPads, would make it more manageable. The space can feel a bit cramped.

Found the most beautiful antique ring from here today! The owner displays their collection of rings outside that you can browse through.

Quite the gem!Great location, prices, and service. If you are ever in this area, have a visit. Right by the train. You will not regret it. Take the time to go through their antiques and you will find something to truly cherish. The owners are such lovely people - warm and welcoming. I found myself sifting through so many things. Though it may seem disorganized, spend a minute or two and you will understand how completely organized it is. I ended up purchasing a few rings for my friend and I. The owner actually gave not only the new rings a clean and polish but she asked for my own personal ring so she could do the same. One of the greatest and most memorable experiences I've had considering I just moved here. Will have a visit again!

Cool little antiques shop that's been in that spot forever. It takes some time to root through all the stuff in there but there are all kinds of goodies if you're willing to take the time to look.

Located right near a train and inexpensive. Has everything I need in one spot and always great service. Makes me miss old NYC and it's old variety shops. I love going record and coin shopping.

What an amazing place!
Was walking around Long Island City and stumbled upon a landmark nyc residential building with handmade wooden carved signs stating antiques and Americana museum. They had vintage records and beautiful potery selling for a reasonable price! Then I decided to give it a chance and walk down. As I entered, I first realize this is one of the moments through my eyes something that goes beyond my expectations. Not a large place, but every item was well organized. They had everything from cast iron coin banks, art, planes, trivets, jewelry, American coins, and weathervane. Definitely a spot to visit during a nice day off!
