“Such a joyful experience, in stark contrast to the usual experience of trying on pants, especially vintage denim. Ended up with my holy grail denim and comfortable stan rays, which had evaded me until now.”

“I stumbled upon the Upper East Side Thrift Shop recently and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of items at fantastic prices. It felt like discovering a hidden gem with each aisle I explored. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, be sure to check out both locations on 1st Ave and 87th Street, as well as 2nd Ave and 89th Street. Support this local business, you never know what treasures you might find!”

“This store is the epitome of what thrifting can & should be. if you ever went into a little boutique thrift store and were wowed by the pieces but dissapointed that the prices were completley unaffordable, this store will give you the satisfaction you’re looking for. It is a small, well curated collection, but the prices are very fair, so you feel like you can really participate even if you’re not super wealthy. It's also a small business -- doesn't really get better than this.”

“I found the store online and was there on my visit to New York. Super nice staff, great clothes and the prices were OK too. I was lucky, they had half the store reduced to 50% and I could buy some nice old things. Thank you and best regards from Berlin City! Armin”

“So happy with this store! Its chaotic enough to feel exciting but organized enough that I found the coat and warm pants I wanted in 10 mins and my friend got 2 branded shirts without ao much digging. The staff were so friendly that even shopping with a toddler wasn't stressful. And I appreciate the discounts given. Yes, some places are cheaper - but after using these items for a month now, I'd say they were definitely value for money.”

“We had several large furniture pieces we wanted to donate to ReStore. When we sent photos the staff replied very quickly and accepted all the items.Lucas and Gus arrived on time on the day we scheduled and not only took all the items listed, but other things we forgot to list. They were very professional and helpful. We highly recommend ReStore and their professionals. So much so, that we have contacted them again so we can donate more items to help support the work of ReStore and Habitat for Humanity!”

“I am an Italian tourist who has been to America, I found this vintage shop in Brooklyn and I must say that it is a nice shop, very fragrant, it's a shame that when I took the record, the others fell off, I'm so sorry ?? the girl I found she was very kind even if the last sentence, even though I speak English, I didn't understand well.”

“I absolutely love Little Gotham! They always have the best prices compared to other thrift stores in the area. The key is to go often- they have a high turn over rate (since they have low prices in my opinion) things fly out, but there are always new items coming in daily. When I walk home from work they are always bringing in new items and I often pop in or check the IG for the newest stuff. They are family owned and they treat you like family, when I went through a break up and needed to replace a lot of furniture they not only gave me excellent prices on items but kept me in the loop on items I were looking for. They are the best- can’t recommend higher!”

“Found some amazing vintage clothes at a reasonable price. The place can feel a little overwhelming and get extremely packed. But it can be an explorative experience with friends to find goodies. They do charge a credit card fee, so bring cash if you don't want to pay that. They also sell bags to carry your purchase for $2, so bring your own in case you bought a haul of goodies.”

“BEAUTIFUL TO BUY FROM and EXCELLENT TO SELL TO!The owners are always working in the store which is the real evidence to a great indie owned company. They love what they do! Very selective on what they take in making what they sell high quality. Pricing is below retail and they have $2-$6 bins with hidden gems. Found a lot of brand new high end - name brand- clothes for a friends baby shower. Excellent place to sell clothes, take credit and upgrade your childs wardrobe.”

“Unique Boutique is a very popular place. My son and I have found some real treasures among the dress clothes, suits, slacks, jackets, and dress coats, and so will you. No kidding! My son and I like to go to Unique Boutique about once a month. You will be happy with this place!”

“this a really good spot to buy clothes, as well as donate. the only negative thing i have to say is that their store times are so bothersome. i have to essentially plan my entire day around making I’ll have enough time to go since they close early sometimes.”

4.5 Superb13 Reviews

“Love this place. Lots of super-cheap clothes. My advice on how to shop is to make three or four rounds just to make sure you didn't miss anything. Friendly staff, good vibes here. Also, I thought it worth adding that I've been to plenty of bigger, chain resale shops in NY and NJ like Unique, 2nd Ave Thrift, and this place is better. It's clean, rotates stock, and is far more pleasant.”
