My friend said this was a place for Basic manicures & she was right. I would only come back if it was an emergency. She never bothered to clean under my nails & i had to ask for polish to be removed off cuticle edges & straightened out. Limited colors, no neon colors for summer. Nothing fancy & they Can't do ombre. Bring cash for tip or they will yell out that you have to tip them. No tips on card. I stopped in because I was in the neighborhood. $36 for gel manicure.

I've been here twice, for gel removal and a mani-pedi. There are definitely good things about this place. The prices are fantastic, the complementary shoulder massages are a nice touch, and it's quiet (I know some see that as a bad thing!). I'm happy with the pedicure I got on my second visit, and the gel removal on my first was efficient.
However, the overall experience is just okay, and I was disappointed with my manicure. Within three days, my polish has chipped faster than when I do my nails at home. I was optimistic about the cuticle trimming given a positive review here about them, but the skin around my fingernails has been peeling ever since despite frequent moisturizing. At one point, the tech was clipping at my skin without even looking at my cuticles.
I would possibly go back just for a pedicure because the price is really good, but I would try other places in the area first.
Cleanliness: Okay. There are sterilization boxes for the metal tools, but I don't know how often the foot rubs are cleaned or whether the buffing/filling cubes are reused.

Didn’t have the color I wanted (confirmed with a tech and was later told they didn’t have it). No training on any other ways to fix a broken nail without acrylic, which I didn’t want. There were flies everywhere and not only do they only have cash tip they have the audacity to also say that it’s a 15% minimum for tip? Never going back.

I would describe my experience as the color grey... just Meh.... a really DRY experience here. No life, no music playing, no ladies talking, just a very silent and awkward totalitarian vibe of a nail salon. My pedicure was really not anything special and they were stingy with the amount of coats on my nails and were going to leave a huge piece of dead skin on my toe if I didn’t communicate to cut it off... as if that’s not what I’m paying for. Won’t be returning as I could of done this quality of service at home.

My favorite nail place! Been going for years and they are always kind and do a good job. After this renovation it's even better and very clean/modern. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I went here for the first time last week and got the French gel powder with tips. She did an amazing job and took her time. The nails are still holding on well with no chipping. The place was clean and the staff members were all pleasant and kind. I would ? recommend.

I’ve been coming to Tara nails for years because they’re aren’t many options. It’s always extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. If there was an option to give them a 0 rating I would. They don’t respect appointment times and don’t even communicate with you about having to wait or how long the waiting time is. They just keep you waiting and avoid eye contact on purpose to not answer basic questions about wait time. And if you say something about waiting they really don’t care if you stay or leave. I wish I could say nicer things but I cringe every time I have to go for a pedicure.

They do an ok job but don't bother making an appt. You still have to wait. If you are pressed for time as I was this can be frustrating. I eneded up waiting 15min and leaving.
