I was a tenant at Pearson for a year and honestly one of the best buildings I’ve stayed in during my time in NY (I’ve been at three different buildings before). The building manager Mark is honestly the best of the best. Super kind, responsive and efficient. The management company should definitely pay him more. My issues were always fixed quickly thanks to Mark. Garrick at the front desk is also amazing, he takes the time to get to know the tenants and always so welcoming and helpful. I’m only moving since I want to be back in the city and a bigger space. The leasing office is kind of terrible and unresponsive but at the end of the day I didn’t have trouble getting my deposit back and they did end up extending my lease when I needed more time. THANK YOU MARK AND GARRICK!!!

Review for leasing office. 0 stars. Do not respond to emails or phone calls and are never in their physical office. Wasted a lot of time trying to track them down. Somehow apartments get listed and rented but I'm never able to hear back from leasing office. Something sounds fishy.

It's impossible to get a hold of the leasing office. Been trying to call and email them for 2 weeks now with no response. Finally today I went to the apartment building to see if they were there. I spoke to the doorman there who told he had many people show up exactly like I did cause the couldn't get a hold of the leasing office and he didn't know what the problem was. He even mentioned they have an onsite office but nobody ever shoes up for that. Whoever owns this building needs to fire your leasing office and replace it with somebody who actually does their job.

I'm so happy to finally leave this building - the noise is unbearable.

2 wonderful years here, the best experience in NYC by far. Great responsive management, and the building stuff is what you could only dream of.Fair price for what building offers, and even the train noise becomes something that you miss when away.Pearson is home

I lived here for a year and I’m very happy about the location, the quality of the building, the view, the doorman’s, the reasonable price, even the management team! This is the only rental building I lived in the US that I could have nails and hooks on the wall and they still returned me all my deposit! The only downside is that it’s close to the 7 train stop and it’s at a turn. Imagine the train brakes with the big turn… visit and try to see if you could bear with this noise. Otherwise it’s perfect!

I enjoy visiting rental buildings and condos, and the Pearson Court Square is a great option. It is one of the newer buildings and there is only one building. It is a rental, located conveniently close to Trader Joes and subway stations for multiple subway lines. The lobby design is welcoming and the doorman is friendly and seems to be familiar with the tenants. However, there is not swimming pool but their are outdoor basketball courts.

I adored living here. The staff is friendly, and small maintenance requests (like clogged drains) are addressed within 24 hours or less. The only major issue that bothered me here are how some neighbors treat the laundry room where they do not pick/clean up after themselves. I lived here for 1 year and would have LOVED to renew my lease, but the rent increased so much it is out of my budget. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Travelled all the way from Boston to tour a unit in this building, only for the leasing agent to be a no-show. When I emailed the office asking where the agent was, they falsely claimed they had emailed me to cancel (they hadn't) and offered no apology.

I scheduled time the day before to come and view an apt. The leasing agent cancelled 30 mins prior to the meeting and I live about the same distance away. I ended up wasting $60 round trip in cab fare showing up on time to an appt that was cancelled last minute.

EDIT: Construction. Holy wow. I know there's construction everywhere but we've dealt with INSANE construction that completely blocks all natural light and is SO close to our apartment (9I) that it's 100% not worth the rent we've been paying. Due to the pandemic, we're now considering moving out because we likely won't be able to use any of the amenities for a long time. C+C hasn't offered any refunds for not being able to use the amenities, basically leaving us to pay high rent for a 13X13 SQFT apartment.I've lived in NYC for almost 5 years, moving every year from borough to borough. Pearson is easily the best, most amazing and comfortable choice out of all the buildings I've lived in. Making the switch to luxury was obviously going to make life easier... but there's a quaint vibe to the building itself that sets it apart from others in the area.

Horrible train noise NON stop 24/7. Cannot keep the windows open. The only time it stops if the 7 train is not running or if it is snow / rainy day. There is also a construction happening between the train and the building.Aside from the train noise, the staff is friendly, and the maintenence team addresses issues quick. However, compare to other buildings in the area, the Pearson Court has larger apartment units, lower prices, and good mix of people. If you are reading this review because of the 1 star, I actually recommend this building, just be mindful of the location of the unit (depending on the side of the building and the level, you can reduce the noise of the train). For the people who love pets, Pearson Court is the great building. There are a lot of cute doggies live in PC.I just started doing independent LIC buildings description on youtube, so you can watch it on my channel: Olga Hayden.
