11:30AM - 8PM
3025B 3rd Ave, Bronx“This was the magnum opus of collectible stores. Have never been in a place like this, a safe haven in New York. Come here if you want to enjoy the good things in life.”
“Thank you Henry for being a gracious proprietor and kind soul. We were treated as family. Fanny pack and birthday gift purchased at reasonable price. Always a good idea to go in and say hello!”
10AM - 8PM
761 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn“One of my favorite places in the whole world. An art store for the community run by artists ? Everyone always talks about places that are long since closed but I remember them all and A&C is like what if they were kind and welcoming, too.”
“This is a place where all your nerdy, anime loving dreams come true. Staff is very nice and helpful all the time. Overall a great place to shop for your nerdy/geeky crafty needs.”
11AM - 11PM
36-12 Main St, Queens“Went here a few months ago and was blown away by the spaciousness! Definitely more expensive than the other arcades and be prepared to spend more money. However, the merch and plushies are official and licensed, as far as I know this is the only arcade in flushing that does not have bootlegs so that may explain the higher price tag. I will say, I really liked the Lunar New Year promo they had and they should definitely have similar events more often to offset the difficulty and high cost-but at the same time, it's still skill and luck based!Machines are definitely harder, but ask employees for help! The last time we went, we were trying to win a derpy looking dinosaur, and it was very difficult (claw was too weak and plushie was very big and chubby) and the worker helped us reposition. The app did glitch and take away 2 tries for us that we weren't able to play, but the same worker helped us (I never got her name but she had glasses!). She was very encouraging and sweet and helped us win it!”
11AM - 7PM
687 Broadway, New York“The store was smaller than I expected, but the items and objects that they had in the store were incredible. They had a REAL human skeleton and many other animals and creatures for your amazement. If you're into animals or sea creatures, then I strongly recommend you to come here.”
10:30AM - 6PM
11 E 33rd St, New York“NYC's longest running board game & rpg shoppe (I think, my research is minimal on this) is literally floor to ceiling games. You can find not only new release, but titles from decades ago among it's packed shelves. This place is truly worth a visit when you are in Manhattan.”
“Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fantastic collection of new and old comics. They also have a really great collection of collectibles in stock. They've also got a large collection of graded comics.”
11AM - 6:30PM
7102 13th Avenue, Brooklyn“I've been going to The Card Cave since I discovered their store in June, and I couldn't be happier. I've been able to buy/sell my cards to them. They have many different sports and brands within card collecting. The staff is very knowledgeable regarding sports/trading cards. They also do submissions to PSA, and will help you figure out which cards you should submit. I'm excited to finally find a local shop to go to. Store is clean and comfortable. First time I went there, I was there for 3 hours hanging out and buying cards. I would recommend you visit this store.”
11AM - 7:30PM
16 E 17th St, New York“WowBeen ages since I was last here and the place is as I remembered- super friendly and helpful staff. The “technician” restrung my beads (that kept breaking) on the spot for less than $10! And what an improvement given the various choices she offered . And with a guarantee to come back if it fails/falls off.Def will be back with other beads in my vast collection. Go here first and only!!”
“Practically grew up here when it was a small shop located in the basement of Hong Kong Supermarket way inthe back right corner. A Flushing staple for the card game enthusiasts.”
“It’s a nice store has a lot of options for crafts supplies. Definitely worth checking out. Staff is very helpful and they know their way around so they can quickly find things for you. I also recommend calling them before going to ask if they have what you’re looking for just to save you a trip. But if you’re just browsing and not sure what you want, definitely check it out.”
“Nice place but beware it's not a shop where you can drop in to play board games (in contrast to a different Google review I've seen), they only allow you to sit down and play games during specific events they host.”
9AM - 11PM
333 Court St, Brooklyn“Phenomenal store focused on building communities for tabletop games, TCGs, RPGs, and wargames. Easily the most inclusive wargming community (e.g.: Warhammer 40k, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, and Battletech) in NYC, and home to some of the best 40k regular tournaments and leagues in the tri-state area. Great store and staff!”
9AM - 9PM
2289 Broadway, New York“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”
“Tannen's shop is magical. Anyone who has made it to the 6th floor at number 45 and to door 608 will end up in a paradise for magicians. Hundreds of tricks are waiting behind the large counter to be demonstrated and purchased. There is also a whole library of magical literature on the shelves.”
“After finding this store online several years ago, and talking cross-country to Jimmy several times - it was such a joy to come and spend an hour or more looking at and trying multiple pens my husband and I were considering. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - it felt like an hour spent with friends! We bought several items for ourselves and at least one gift!”
“My favorite spot in all of NYC for games amd gaming needs! If you're in Williamsburg, Twenty Sided Store is a must stop destination! The owners and employees are amazing! Tell em Juris sent you when you visit!”
“I found this Hobby store by chance during Covid and while its a small two isle store, the owners fill it to the brim for their customers.
With a wide variety of Hobby and Craft items plus being the only hobby store in Queens that I'm aware of that sells Warhammer minis, paints ect, its become my go to place for the hobby.
They also partner with local businesses for games and offer discounts for veterans amungst other things. Great location with good people.”
11AM - 6PM
8 Elizabeth St, New York“Decided to make this one of my stops during my trip to NYC. I gotta say it was well worth it!
Upon entry, Vic was super welcoming and inviting to come check out the shop! The selection here is absolutely mind boggling! They have everything you could ever need when it comes to any TCG.
Not only that, but the service is incredible! They showed me some slabs, some sealed product, and had some sweet deals!
Great shop owned by a great family! Will be returning next time I am in the city!”
“Coolest guy I ever met! Seriously Vieira gave my 10 yo son free coins to encourage him, and willing to share his knowledge with a little boy. How cool is that! Now my son is more serious in the hobby because of him, and I'd love to go back there and recommend this place to anyone into coin collection!”

1 - 11PM
42-11 Broadway, Astoria“Cool game store. Really nice dudes at front counter and very courteous. Be advised NO WARHAMMER and no model glue. They have paint but again it’s not Citadel. However, lots of board games and play space in the rear. Seems cool but needs the 40K to make me a common.”
10AM - 4PM
508 Broad Ave, Ridgefield“Awesome old school hobby store. The owners are super friendly, genuine enthusiasts, and very helpful.
The store is a goldmine of kits, and trains. Ask to head downstairs or out the back, there’s way more to the store than you’d expect.”
“Even though there's one tile missing out of our Mexican train dominoes set, we really enjoy playing Mexican train dominoes. We are horse people and we just cannot wait after a good days ride in the Shawnee national Forest to get back and put the horses up, take a good shower, and get down to the community room and get to playing Mexican train dominoes with our friends and family.”
