I recently brought my 2018 Porsche Cayman GTS to Formula Motorsports for its 40k mile service, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was met with professionalism and a deep passion for the Porsche brand. Mike, one of the owners, took the time to discuss my vehicle in detail and provided transparent insight into what needed to be done. It’s rare to find a shop that combines top-tier expertise with honesty and integrity, but that’s exactly what I found here. Formula Motorsports has earned my trust, and I will definitely be returning for any future service or repairs. Highly recommended!
An added benefit is being able to see all of the cool pcars they’re working on.

Mike is the most professional and reliable person I have ever met. I recently had some trouble with my 991 and before I met Mike I had been to 3 different shops with unsatisfactory results. But Mike is Mike, he can do it when no one else can. And he always has some useful advice to give you, all in all HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I recently brought my 2014 991 to Formula for some scheduled maintenance and could not be happier about my experience. First of all, the shop is immaculate. May be my OCD but I think that shows that these guys care about their workplace, and I think that translates to how they treat their customers and their cars.
After discussing my concerns with my car, Michael talked me through what is required and what can wait. I received a transparent and clear estimate. They completed the work exactly when they said they would. I've found my go to pcar shop!

change oil/ filter
flush brake system
replace spark plugs
replace engine drive belt
flush coolant system
clean drains
replace engine air filter and interior w/ overlap of engine belt.

I was tired of getting fleeced by the dealership for service so have switched to Formula Motorsports for all of my Macan's service needs. Michael is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to Porsches and its clear he is passionate about his work.

Mike is just as good as everyone says. Comes highly recommended. He cares about his business and it shows. If you're looking for the best possible service, care, integrity and attention for your P car...this is the place. You get what you pay for. Last minute he serviced my new to me Cayenne Turbo and precisely took care of what was needed. Car came back running better than new. Looking forward to you taking care of our car Mike!

Formula Motorsport is a competitive shop, Located in Long Island City, Michael is a gentleman, a very reasonable guy, He will go the extra mile to gain your business and keep your Porsche experience as it should, Rock Solid. I would give them 5 starts but the perfection is only for Gods, but goodness his service will left you speechless…., Look no further if you are looking for Class A attention.

Michael and the team are top top notch. If you care about your car, look no further. I had a clutch replacement and cables replaced - runs like a new car. They are truly experts and enthusiasts that will give an honest assessment of what your car needs. Will be back. Michael is very responsive and a nice guy to talk all things p car.

Michael and the crew at Formula Motorsports are incredible. When you talk to them you know you’re going to get a straightforward, honest answer from a shop that knows Porsches better than anyone I’ve met. It’s just a bonus that the shop is basically a museum!1. My ‘86 911 cab had sustained damage. I brought it to Michael to assess the damage and determine the correct course of action. Over several days Michael and I talked frequently and determined what steps needed to be taken. Michael advised me on what he thought was best but there was never any pressure, and the decision was ultimately left up to me.2. I take my 2018 Macan S here for service. They turn the work around more quickly and at a lower cost than the dealership offers.

I brought my 911 in for an engine rebuild and things could not have gone smoother. Pricing was transparent, communication was great, and the final product as described. Given all the variables with the air cooled engines, especially the 77, I was pleasantly surprised to see a quick turnaround and no additional issues. Additionally I had them refresh my gearbox and shifter assembly. Great experience!

Michael was super easy to work with and he was full of great advice for me as a new GT3 owner. If you have a P-car in the tristate area this is definitely the place to go.
