The space itself is fine and my items were safe for the two years we used them.However, I wanted to shout out the office staff and manager for working with me to facilitate an early move-out. They were very accommodating and were able to provide me with a refund. They remembered me and my case and even spoke with their home office on my behalf. (I also appreciate how gracious they were in dealing with me, a hormonal pregnant woman.) Thank you CitiWide, and I wish your business continued success!

When it comes to their service, they expect you to know the ins and outs of their job. So when you have a question, you're belittled and made to look like an idiot. I guess that's what you get when you hire entitled high school drop outs. As for storage, it's not the best, but it gets the job done if you're looking for just a couple months.

I have been a Citiwide Self Storage customer for more than 20 years. I have had multiple rooms of different sizes and the office staff are very helpful in determining the type of room you need. The elevator operator is also a wonderful gentleman who always has a smile on his face and a nice greeting -- which when you are moving lots of boxes is welcomed. From household storage through an out of town job move to just needing seasonal storage, Citiwide is great. The building is not climate controlled, but most types of storage do not need this.

Poor customer service. They'll make extra charges and will try to charge you extra when you try to vacate. Go anywhere but here.

I'm a little mixed about this place. I have a unit here for a little over a year. I have some reasons why I like them and reasons why I don't. I like that it's convenient, near home so I can walk there and back with ease.I like the staff, they really are friendly. What I don't like.....I don't like that every time you go your first visit you have to collect a slip. It's pretty annoying, I like to be able to go in and out. I wish it was a 24 hour facility with card keys where you don't have to see anyone for a permission slip.I don't like that sometimes you have to wait on the elevator for a long time. I don't like that they don't prorate being that in the past I moved my stuff out earlier and was told they couldn't refund me for the days I didn't use. It's almost as they nickel and dime every move with their expensive box prices and storage supplies. I don't like that they up your charges of your unit very frequently. I don't like that a bathroom isn't on every floor. I feel that is needed. To be honest I'm not sure there is one at all for the customers. They for sure don't let you know about it if there is one. I know I said more do not liked then likes,However, if this unit is close to home, then it's worth it. The convenience is what does it for me. I mostly store seasonal items to declutter my home so I'm frequently in and out my unit. Hope this review helps someone.

We were clients for some 12 years, and let me say we did not have fancy red doors on both our units. While location was a prime convenience, it was disappointing that we were still charged a FULL month, even though we had to vacate 5 days into a month. They refused to pro-rate, even for long-time clients. Additionally, before we left, they moved to a new financial system which was a disaster! We were told they had not paid, and sent two reminders, when we were paid up in full. Service is a hit and miss. I don't know who everyone else was dealing with, but I don't think 5-star is a deserving rating, so we're giving 3-stars for our experience.

I have rented several storage units from Citi Wide for the past 5 years. The team is amazing and they all have continually gone above and beyond to help me out over the years. It is a wonderful team of people but I need to give a special thanks to Michele and Sean in leasing, Elliot, Matt and of course Paul who I have shared too many elevator rides to count. You have made my many storage trips so much more enjoyable and I will definitely miss seeing you all!I can't say enough good things about Citi Wide. I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a storage unit.

Amazing service! Lamar, Roy, and Shan were super helpful with my move out process. Im sad to go but am very satisfied with my time here and would recommend Citiwide to any of my friends or family. Thank you guys!

My wife and I came in to get a quote on a storage unit and were greeted by the lovely, charming Michelle Macasa. Her upbeat attitude and patience made the process as easy as possible. It was due to her friendliness that we we signed up on the spot. Michelle is a wonderful representative for the company and should be recognized for it.

any complaint made by review are just people that are upset they couldnt have their way or dont pay their billsthe staff are regular people like you and me and are great for the business. Theyre extremely helpful, knowlegable and accomadating. I have had two Units here so far and am looking to get another as the business is expanding and they're definitely helping to make sure we have what we need. The units themselves are decently sized and well priced for the real estate. Convieniently located in the Court square area, not far from the LIE (if you're coming from out east, 59th street bridge (if youre coming from manhattan) and the BQE (if you're coming from SI/BK). The View aint half bad from the upper floors too if youre into that ^_^

The employee was rude and he kicked us from the office because we didn't have masks and in the same time he refused to put a mask after we asked him.If there is a rule for the customers, these same rules must me mandatory for the employees and they didn't ware masks.

I am a repeat client here over 15 years. Today I called in to make a payment and I was 6 HOURS LATE passed the DUE DATE. My due date was March 10 and 11th I get charged $30. I called in and thanked them first for calling me and apologized I was not able to answer as I was really sick this week with Covid and couldn't answer any calls. I asked nicely if they can consider waving the LATE FEE Of $30 given that I am calling now and its only 6 hours into the day. The staff in the location did try to speak to senior management as I know they said they will call me back - and it was denied by David Z - the senior manager. David Z - - why did you deny basic customer service?? Did you incur $30 of service fee's to my account that you had to insist on billing me even though I was 6 hours into past the due date? Its just a STORAGE - and my things are SITTING THERE!!! To pay $30 for 6 hours into the "late fee" day especially since THEY HAD NO EXPENSES INCURRED!! It made NO SENSE and I asked for basic customer courtesy given also that I was severely sick and that I was calling now myself on 6 hours past due date. He confirmed he spoke to the Senior Management David Z. who denied my request. I work in customer service myself all day -- ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAD NO EXPENSE!!! MY STUFF IS JUST SITTING IN THE STORAGE!!! THEY DID NOT PAY ANYONE OUT OF POCKET $30 or anything to justify WHY THEY NEED TO KEEP THIS LATE FEE - 6 hours into the past due date. David Z - HOPE THIS REVIEW IS WORTH THE $30 you made today!!

The greatest customer service by Sean & Paul and the entire staff here. Been coming to storage thru a work opportunity and amazed at service level. Super attentive and helpful ! Classic huge elevators that 100 years old is a plus ! Ty
