Alen is a rare breed, super knowledgeable, very honest and a great communicator. Had a great experience every time with our Audi Allroad and would highly recommend.

There are very few honest mechanics left on earth. Alen at AV motorwerks is one of the best mechanics I have ever come across, not only is he very professional with his work. He's honest with what he does. He's the only mechanic I have ever met that shows you the damaged part with the new replacement piece. His the type of guy that checks your vehicle before giving it back updating you on what you need and don't need. That extra piece of mind is something you can't buy at a regular local shop or dealership.
I came in to do an oil change and breaks cause by the squeaking noise. After the oil change Alen showed me I didn't need breaks I had just over 60% left on them. It's probably because I leave the car sitting around way to long, which is true. Any other mechanic could have charge me $600 - $1,000 but that's not Alen. He did point out that the flex pipe was damage and could lead to more things needing to be replace later on. He found what was causing that exhaust leak without me asking him to check the car. Little things like this are the reasons I don't go anywhere else.
FYI I also found that he was dog friendly and that shows the type of guy he is. Didn't mind my doberman around him and that speaks colum volumes.
If you want an honest mechanic; someone that does professional work, checks everything around the car, sends you pictures of parts damage and has them there for you to see. You need to check him out. No other mechanics will go to the lengthand details that Alen at AV MOTORWERKS goes too.
PS his always helping out veterans just as myself. Something that I'm grateful everyday for.

Alen is definitely running one of the most knowledge auto body shops around. You can tell he takes great pride in his work and explains to you and gives a diagnostic on your car. He pointed out some things that other mechanics could not solve. I appreciate his true professionalism and transparency with his work. If you want to work with a honest and expert in his craft than Alen is your guy. I highly recommend and would refer many of my family and friends to him.

Went in for the first time today with a car that I know the owner runs into the ground, and Alan was more than helpful in getting us fixed up for the road. I will go back with any work I need in the future in astoria
