In general USPS offices are horrible - unmotivated employees in 1980s setting that make you feel you are disturbing your tranquility. However! The LB USPS is even worse than your average office - at max two counters open and one always occupied preparing Passports or other insanely complicated maters. Don't even think about showing up on Saturday - it will take an hour to drop your prepaid package of.

I used to hate going to this post office and so I went to neighboring smaller locations. Over the past few years it’s become a pleasure. I’m there pretty often and everyone who works there is very nice and efficient. The lines are long on Saturdays so I try to avoid that. They’ve stepped up their team or training.

Peter must be the rudest person working in the post office. Always with an attitude and condescending to customers. Why is this person still working here? There are plenty of customers complaining about his attitude

Peter was rude and condescending. I literally went in to drop off an Amazon return that he proceeded to throw across the room into a bin. I also had a letter to just drop off since I was going in anyway. He berated me for not putting it in the mailbox outside. I stated I was coming in anyway. He then stamped my letter and also threw it like a frisbee to a bin and said “see wasn’t that simple?” Seriously? Arethese appropriate behaviors and the way to handle someone’s mail? Disgusting behavior.

Could not locate my package after waiting quite a while. Then gave me the # to call the manager the next day. Because he wasn’t in . Shouldn’t that be there job ?? I never come here always go to island park . Terrible service

A beautiful building and a memorable mural inside makes this Post Office very interesting to visit. The staff is helpful and the wait time is not long.
