if u are in a rush they have the gear but if you aren't in a rush and need stuff like leashes, you can get it at better prices on-line.. great clothes, boards etc.. but accessories, a bit pricey for my taste..Then again ALL SURFSHOPS are this way, i haven't seen any surfshop sell accessories as cheap as they do on amazon

We arrived way too late, right before closing on the 4th of July and Dave still made sure we could rent and ride a board.

This is the only shop in Long Beach that offers wetsuit rentals! The owners are always so nice and welcoming. Their used board selection is dangerously good - always worth checking out. Thank you for the free stickers!

I had a reservation for a 10am surf board + wetsuit rental. Whoever was supposed to show up was too hungover and didn't send anyone else until 11:20am. We called multiple times but no one picked up and we had no option to leave a message. Also messaged and called via Instagram. We got in and they told us they didn't do any wetsuit rentals and did not have ANY women's wetsuits available to sell. Planned our whole weekend around surfing this morning and our whole day was wasted. On top of that, they couldn't even refund us right away because it was done online. Horrible management and horrible experience, do not recommend at all.

This surf shop is a legend in it's own town! They have everything you need, surf boards, surf attire, clothing, bathing suits. Everyone there is really nice! I strongly suggest going here for any of your beach life needs!

I brought my snowboard in to get it waxed and to get a raised bump shaved down. As soon as I presented it to the fella behind the counter, he told me that from the looks of it, I can save the money and easily tackle it myself. I'm not used to that kind of honesty these days! He even gave me a few pointers on what materials I should use and suggested a few youtube videos. I literally went next door to the hardware store, picked up what I needed for under $5, went home and did it myself. All it took was a razor blade, some super glue, an ice-cold beer and I was done! While there, I noticed some really cool hoodies, surf boards galore (even some nicely priced used ones in the back), and a ton of dope skateboard kicks. I haven't said the words "dope" or "kicks" in quite a long time (especially in the same sentence) but having stepped foot in this pretty hip skate/surf shop definitely brings it out of you. Hang tight! Or is it hang-loose? Either way, this is definitely a rad shop right by the beach!

Great owner, great service, great surf shop. Also great place to drop off your dinged up boards. I got a couple of my boards repaired by Dave. The work was excellent. Definitely will keep going back.

I am not a surfer but needed a gift for someone who is. I stopped in the the staff member who was there asked me about the person I was buying for, gender, age, skill level, tastes, etc. Helped me select the right gift which was well received and appreciated. I can not say enough positive things about this shop. Give it a try.
