They are great and they really go the extra mile before, during, and after adoption. The animals are well cared for and loved as they await their new homes. Our poodle was up to date on vaccinations, spayed, dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, and already micro-chipped. Our Mia is now 6 months old we got her when she was 8 weeks old and she has been a pleasure, we all enjoy her; she has a wonderful disposition and friendly with other dogs, and kids. We couldn’t be happier with Posh Pets and our new babe

This place sucks!! They workers are so rude and cold hearted to people, we saw a dog we wanted to adopt and nowhere on the website did it state we had to make an appointment how can we put an application in for a dog we never met! How do know the dog is a good dog and they told us we had to apply for Application but we don’t know how the dog is! And the employees need to learn so freaking respect for the people who want to adopt and they also said that most to the animals are in the foster POOR ANIMALS! That is not fair to the animals from being house to shelter to house it’s not okay and they NEED! Better Employees!!!! They Also wanted 400!! Dollars for the dog we wanted!!! It’s so overpriced especially since she was a rescue dog!!

The staff is cold and disrespectfull…. I could only imagine how they treat the animals!!!!! If they so disrespectful to potential adoptees how do they treat the cats and dogs looking for a new home. THEY NEED NEW STAFF THAT ARE UNDERSTANDING AND LOVING….

We got bean November of last year. The people at posh were extremely helpful and truthful about our boy. The volunteers go above and beyond for their animals as bean sees them from time to time and loses his mind. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Posh Pets apparently does not want to adopt out their pets. I attended their adoption event and the director was rude and dismissive. I submitted an application two weeks before the event but she admitted she had not viewed it. She said a home visit was required before even considering a family to adopt a pet but implied that since I was in CT she would not visit my home. She said she “hoped I didn’t come to their adoption event for nothing.” Well, apparently I did drive over 2 hours to see the dogs for nothing. I had hoped to meet the dogs available for adoption, talk to their foster parents to learn about them, and show how great a life I could have given a pup. Instead I was rudely turned away. If Posh Pets only adopts with a certain radius, or will not adopt from an event, this should be clearly stated.
EDIT: To respond to the response below -
I never said that I was told to attend the adoption event or that I was approved. I spoke to a volunteer and stated clearly that I applied but was not yet approved, yet was interested in meeting the dogs. I'm sorry that you misheard or misunderstood.
As I stated above, you were very rude and dismissive when we met at the event. You stated that Connecticut was too far for you to give a home visit, told me I wasted my time traveling to your event, and turned around and left without giving me opportunity to discuss anything further.
The event was advertised on your website. Nowhere was it stated that this was invite-only. Obviously I thought this was an event for people interested in adopting dogs. This is the usual meaning of public adoption events. I had even reached out via email to ask about the event and got no response.
While I understand you have many applications and emails, it doesn’t take long to read and respond to emails from interested parties.
I did not respond to your email sent after the event because I did not feel that there was any constructive conversation. I am not interested in working with Posh Pets due to your demeanor and lack of professionalism.

Amazing staff dedicated to the well being and to finding the best home for every animal in their care. They love these animals like they are their own until they find their loving forever homes. I am so grateful for my Posh pups and for the tremendous impact they have had on my life. Thank you, Posh Pets Rescue.

They introduced me to my baby. Luna Belle Blue. We had her quickly(less than 24hrs) there were no issues. They even had all her shots done and a video to show her temperament. I plan to get all my pets from them going forward.

We just adopted a little goddess named Sydney from Posh Pets Rescue. Linda, Melissa and the gang are absolutely wonderful! They took the time to actually get to know us and make sure we understood the possible breed mixes in Sydney. They take time with the animals while in the shelter and seem to really know the behaviors while they are in their care. I am really impressed how they make sure you know they are always part of the family in the event they get loose or something happens that you can't take care of them. They really have hearts of gold, love updates and care the fit is right for both you and the rescues!!! I can't recommend them enough!!!
